View Full Version : [3.5e] Updating the Spell Lists for Domain Wizards (UA) and Bloodline Feats (DComp)

Both of these are interesting ideas, but they're both sadly locked into using Core spell lists, which aren't always that great — some Domains have to fudge using spells of other elemental types, or even just a spell with a thematic name but not a thematic effect (e.g. Cold Domain: Chill Touch).

So, what I'd like to do is brainstorm better spell lists, including all the good stuff in the Spell Compendium and later books. Ideally, the end result will be setting-neutral, and maybe if there's interest we can do some setting-specific lists as well.

Here are the (names of the) Bloodline Feats from Dragon Compendium. They're for Sorcerers, and similar to the Wizard Domains, what they do is give you a bonus spell known at each spell-level. Obviously this is more exciting for a Sorcerer than a Wizard.

I don't think I'm allowed to reprint the spell lists for all of these feats, but if I am, let me know and I'll edit this post to include them.
