Desert Wind
Iron Heart
or
Tiger Claw

Mostly opinions at this point.

I would say Desert Wind.

I tend to think of Diamond Mind and Setting Sun as "elegant" or soft styles. Desert Wind could easily be a dervish dancer style. I suppose any could be fluffed as a dancing martial art, Stone Dragon would be rather percussive though.

Going with Setting Sun, myself. It's all about movement in place - spinning, rolling, turning, redistributing one's weight and one's opponent's weight. And one's opponent. There's something very t'ai chi or somewhat capoeira about it.

Desert Wind is okay, but it's all about movement from one place to another - dizzying sprints, dashes, lunges, that ignite sparks and light. It's mostly running and burning things. Now, you could make the argument that Shadow Hand, being insanely elegant and somewhat capable of flight, is an option. But a dancer wants to be seen, not invisible. And certainly Tiger Claw, with its leaping and thrashing, is... something, at least.

But I'd have to give it to Setting Sun. Few disciplines promote the same kind of body control, balance, and coordination.

Also, chucking a dude.

Unless It's A Final Fantasy Tactics Dancer then it's Definately Stone Dragon, Those ladies get one Whopper of a PA modifier.

What dances are you looking for?

Personally, I think Iron Heart would work awesomely to show Noh(Japanese theatre) performances, and maori warrior dances.

Here's an example of what I had in mind, which is why it's so important to get snowflake wardance to actually work.

The answer is any, if properly refluffed.

of the three schools you selected, and the style of dancing you're going for, I'd honestly go for tiger claw, a whirling frenzy of blades, closest thing you'd get to a tome of battle dervish i'd imagine. I'd imagine desert wind would be the kneejerk reaction pick for most people, because of the matching desert theme, and it can sorta match, but i think it would be a secondary discipline if necessary.

Yeah I more or less came to the same conclusion, I just needed a little extra input

I'd say it's a square dance

I agree with Red Fel, Setting Sun seems the most dance-like generally. For emulating sword-dancing ... that's a tough call. Tiger Claw would incorporate a lot more leaps and dual-wielded short blades; but Desert Wind has the scimitar flavor, and could also incorporate some Polynesian "fire dancing" moves that would look really impressive combined with swords.

Almost all of the ToB disciplines focus on Standard Action "Strike" maneuvers, so any of them can resemble a dancer (grab Tumble and move around like a Dervish).

Tiger Claw could be breakdancing.
