PM Popup

I'm no longer receiving a popup notification when I get a new PM. Is this part of the upgrade? If so, how do I fix this so I do?

There is still an option for a pop-up notification, and I've still got it checked and I've noticed it's not working either.:smallconfused:

I get the notification by E-mail.

I have it set up to do the Pop-up... but it doesn't trigger.

Not likely. I, and I assume most of the people that posted above, have had the popups working just fine until recently. It's not particularly likely to be blocked by the browser anyway, since it uses an alert window rather than an actual popup in a separate window... at least until you use the alert dialog to tell it to open a proper window.

Yeah, I don't get a lot of PMs, so I'm just noticing that I have this problem, too. I've just tried saving my settings again. Hopefully that'll work.

I'm guessing it's to reduce database strain, by removing the need to look up the latest sender and title for the PM popup when people receive a new PM.

Why don't you bring back donations? I stopped givign Total Fark my 5 bucks a month so why won't yo uaccept it? I'm sure that out of all the peopel who visit this forum you could raise enough money for a good server fairly quickly (or a dedicated server for the comics).

I would donate $5 bucks a month if it ment that I could make polls that are worth makeing, PM's still popped up, and various other disabled thigns came back.
