Krog hadn't been feeling good that day, so the other kobolds left him alone in the chamber while they proceeded to set traps for the adventurers who were sure to come at night. After setting half the traps on the ground and setting off the other half on themselves, the weary kobolds returned back to the cave. Krog was nowhere to be seen and upon further searching, they found a figure huddled in the corner with some tools. Only upon reaching their friend did the see the horrid truth!!!

It wasn't Krog!!! Or was it???

Werehuman

Size same as the base creature or the base human form.
Gains the Shapechanger subtype.
Gains a +2 bonus to Charisma while in human form.
Racial Hit Dice: A lycanthrope adds the Hit Die of its human form to its base Hit Dice for race, level, and class. This additional Hit Die modify the lycanthrope’s base attack bonus and base saving throw (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/combat/combatStatistics.htm#savingThrows) bonuses accordingly. The lycanthrope receives the bonus feat of first level humans.
Racial Skills: A lycanthrope adds skill points for its humanoid Hit Die much as if it had multiclassed into the humanoid type. It gains skill points equal to (2 + Int modifier, minimum 1). Any skills that appear in the humanoid description are treated as class skills for the lycanthrope’s humanoid levels. The lycanthrope’s maximum skill ranks (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/skills/skillsSummary.htm#skillRanks) are equal to its human form Hit Die + its racial Hit Dice (if any) + its class levels + 3. Any racial skill adjustments of the lycanthrope’s base race and its human form (but not conditional adjustments) are added to its skill modifiers in any form.
Racial Feats: Add the human Hit Die to the base character’s own Hit Dice to determine how many feats the character has. All lycanthropes gain Iron Will (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/feats.htm#ironWill) as a bonus feat.
+1 natural armor bonus (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/theBasics.htm#naturalArmorBonus) in any form.
Special Qualities (see above): Alternate form (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/specialAbilities.htm#alternateForm), lycanthropic empathy, curse of lycanthropy (in human or hybrid form only).
Afflicted lycanthrope: damage reduction (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/specialAbilities.htm#damageReduction) 5/silver (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/specialMaterials.htm#silverAlchemical) (in human or hybrid form only).
Automatic Languages: As base creature plus Common.
Favored Class: Same as the base creature.
Level adjustment: Same as the base creature +1 (natural)

I want to see as human were human. "Every full moon, he rips off his clothes, and puts them back on, and his face mutates, into another face, and he rips his skin off to reveal... more skin... He is... A WEREHUMAN!"

Gwyn ap Nud, that is exactly what I was thinking. "Mark was bitten by a rabid innkeeper, and contracted lycanthropy! Now, every full moon, he turns into Carl, a chartered accountant!"

I really should consider this libel. What with you making a thread about me. :smalltongue:

What can you add the template to? I, for one, think it would be hilarious if a human werewolf met a wolf werehuman.

I think that's the plot of LadyHawke.

What would happen if one bit the other?

Actually, kind of reminds me of those programmers in Sweden who make "viruses" that actually go around and remove viruses from other computers. Maybe someone makes a lycanthrope "antivirus" that uninfects people. Could be interesting in a world that features some kind of large lycanthrope community, particularly if that community was not entirely evil. Kind of a digression, I know, just got me thinking...

This template could make for a very good BBEG.

The human dungeon guide who leads the Party to the "Evil Lair" transforms into the mad illithid priest the party was sent to stop.

Put this on a half-demon of the right sort, make it active for only one night a month, maybe levels of Bladesinger, and you have Inuyasha.

The one with Lupin the were-human, who is a member of the dead's rights activist group? Yah, i remember that one. My discworld collecton is prabably almost as impressive as Terror incognito's. (who proabably picked they're name from the australia equilevent)
