Is it at all possible to get domains onto a divine bard? Specifically, the Sun domain.

Mostly. Pick a PrC which grants the domain and which you qualify to enter. For example, Knight of the Raven (Expedition to Castle Ravenloft, page 200) gets Sun at level 3. You follow the rules for extra domains on page 20 of Complete Divine: you gain the granted power, and can add the spells to your class list at the appropriate levels. The problem with Sun domain is that the granted power does nothing unless you can already turn undead.

A number of options exist. Notably, Contemplative, which grants any domain. There exist classes which grant specific domains (such as Divine Oracle and Rainbow Servant), and the use of substitute domain can allow access to whichever domains you want.

Combination of KoTR and Necromantic Bloodline to pick up the Kin Mastery feat?

It's also possible to gain access to domain spell slots, through classes like holt warden (CC, 84), dracolyte (Draconomicon, 122), and talontar blightlord (UE, 34), and when you take a class like contemplative afterward, you can stick those new spells in the limited use slots, gaining a fuller version of the cleric domain ability.

That seems to be the most effective way for this case.

Thank you, all.
