For anyone who uses a laptop to game, this is a normal problem.
On my touchpad, there is a feature called 'palmcheck', which prevents my pad from being used while typing. This means that when I play games, I cannot use my pad.
I managed to fix this about a year ago, through some convoluted method, and then got into strategy games and work.
Anyway, now it is back on, and has the main problem of only going to 'minimum', I cannot turn it off.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I think I run windows 8.1 with the touchpad being a synaptics v7.2.
