Greetings! For years, I have wanted to adapt into 3.5 Masami Kurumada's Saint Seiya characters.

For those unfamiliar with Saint Seiya, here's their wiki! (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Seiyapedia)

Although the anime series began back in the 80's (which are considered by many as canon), a few spin offs would surface later, with the original artist taking over the helm again in 2002 and continuing the Saint's adventures after the Poseidon arc.

However, in the recent months, that same artist and original creator released Soul of Gold, which centers on twelve of the series most iconic characters- the Golden Saints.

These twelve warriors are said to be the most powerful knights dedicated to the goddess Athena. At first, they served as antagonists to the Bronze Saints (of which the titular Seiya was a part of), but later, they became allies and comrades in battle, but were never given a direct role as protagonists.

Now they have, and watching them in the show again, made me wonder how to translate them into 3.5. What is known about the Golden Saints:

Their armor or 'cloth' is sentient. In one case, the armor abandoned one of the saints because this one became too corrupted. In the case of the golden saints, they appear to be full plate, made of gold, as befitting their station, and representing a Sign of the Zodiac.

Golden saints are said to move at the speed of light. Regardless of whether they are wearing their armor or not. This allows them to overcome many opponents at once.

Golden saints have mastered the '7th Sense', which transcends all senses and even the fabled 6th sense. This allows them to raise their 'cosmo' to unparalleled levels and perform amazing feats and displays of power.

All Golden Saints have specific ways to fight, befitting their Constellation/Training style.

Here are the twelve Golden saints. Although their descriptions cover the spin offs as well, the main ones are discussed a lot more in depth.

Aries (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Aries_M%C5%AB)

Taurus (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Taurus_Aldebaran)

Gemini (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Gemini_Saga)

Cancer (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Cancer_Deathmask)

Leo (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Leo_Aiolia)

Virgo (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Virgo_Shaka)

Libra (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Libra_D%C5%8Dko)

Scorpio (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Scorpio_Milo)

Sagittarius (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Sagittarius_Aiolos)

Capricorn (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Capricorn_Shura)

Aquarius (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Aquarius_Camus)

Pisces (http://saintseiya.wikia.com/wiki/Pisces_Aphrodite)

I know it's a lot of them (twelve!), but at least if one could be converted to 3.5, perhaps it could give me an idea of how to do the other el;even. Chances are they aren't so powerful in d&d terms, although in the show they do display tremendous abilities.

Any and all ideas are more than welcome. Thank you very much!

This guy might be on a sufficient track: http://community.wizards.com/forum/previous-editions-general/threads/1111571

There are a ton of homebrew martial disciplines to shore up any that are missing.

Thank you very much for that link! That's a very interesting class, however I was hoping to avoid homebrew and build these guys using 3.5 material.
