Questions about whirling frenzy and imp. trip

So I have a level 2 human barbarian question. I have extra rage, combat reflexes and improved trip from level 2. If I am using my whirling frenzy, I get -2 on attacks but plus 2 from my extra strength resulting in a net 0.

If I use whirling frenzy to attempt 2 trip attempts, would my strength checks also get -2 or not?

Strength checks aren't attack rolls. You'd have a +2 from the rage and no extra penalties.
