I don't believe that Belkar will show up in time for this battle. But if he somehow did, what do you think his status would be under the Godsmoot? I'm not sure he was ever formally introduced. So is he Roy's subordinate and therefore free to pile on? Or not?

I think its pretty clear. The Priests get TWO bodyguards and non vital personnel are turned away. Belkar was inside, and is therefore a bodyguard

He would have the exact same status as Roy.

He's a bodyguard, and the usher can vouch for him if necessary.

You're right. It is clear. I didn't read back far enough.

And I do hope Belkar shows up. It just seems like a long way back.

Yeah, he was pretty clearly introduced as a bodyguard. The tough part would be getting Belkar to the Godsmoot. :smallwink:

And even if he wasn't, then he REALLY isn't bound by the rules of the Godsmoot and could attack anyone he wants. Of course, they'd be free to defend themselves as well.

But he is, as he was brought in as Durkon's bodyguard. Durkon was able to attack him for the same reason Roy is able to attack Durkon.

He's kinda bound by the "No Intruders" rule though.
