View Full Version : D10 based mana pool help?

I'm using White Wolf's old world of darkness rules as a sort of springboard for a game I'm developing and have set up a mana pool system for witches.

My idea was that the mana pool is filled by Experience, but caps out at 10. Instead of tracking huge numbers of mana points, the player's skill determines how much mana they spend when they cast a spell. They may either spend a huge amount of mana, a small amount, or no mana at all if they're really good.

If they run out of juice, they start to tire out and may even take physical damage depending on the spell.

Since I'm using OWoD as a springboard, I want this to be based around the d10 system. Any suggestions?
