I've seen some mention that the char isn't really that well-balanced, powerful yes but not really playable. So here's an example of one I've made that's a little more balanced and playable. So what do you guys think?

I want to use this character for an AP but I'm not sure which one. I like Wrath of the Righteous, Skull and Shackles, Jade Regent or Reign of Winter. What do you guys think would be best?

If you go for Jade Reagent you'll need a rank in Alchemy.

Why? Not that I have a problem, but I'm curious

The AP is actually called Jade Regent.

I see it spelled "reagent" so often I just had to comment.

Oh for the love of....

You're right, *facepalm* My bad *laughs*

But any thoughts on a good build for a char that can pull merc duty or "generalist that works?"

I wanted to give the char exotic Prof in firearms for a nasty surprise hidden behind a shield but I know people's thoughts on firearms in pathfinder or sword/board.

And one thing I wonder about: And I feel stupid for sayign this: but what hell are "range increments?" I've looked for definition but nothing helps. I've seen like range: 60' and 120' but does it meant that anything PAST that incurs cumulative penalties to hit?

That's it, yep.

The character seems good!

What do you plan on doing with the psionics?

Don't forget your ranged weapon! Guns are hideously unreliable in Pathfinder!

Psionics? I didn't list any psionics.

And I just like the guns, they follow the line of what guns of that time were capable of, Flintlocks are actually somewhat reliable; and you could find the advance to add rifling into it.

You have Latent Psion (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/traits/race-traits/latent-psion-human) as one of your traits, which at first glance looks like you're adding something psionic in here.

It can also mean that while the potential is there, he may never tap into it.

But I do like the idea of gaining Kineticist Levels later Speficially Geokinetics.

I originally just chose it to have the bonus to resist mind-affecting effects.
