In Battlefield 2142, everyone was being taken out by snipers in Fall of Berlin...

I stealthily snuck up behind them and killed all eight of them, then stole one of their kits and proceeded to kill a total of 12 more people, before a Recon came up and tried to knife me, killed him with my pistol, stole his kit for more ammo and killed 7 more people before getting killed by another Recon.

Twas my best round ever.

One time, in a Halo deathmatch, I threw a frag grenade into a room I knew was loaded with grenades littering the floor. The guy I was fighting ran in, just as the grenade exploded...and the other grenades went off in a chain reaction. Bam. Insta-kill.

Mutant deathmatch, UT2004.
In brief: Only the 'Mutant' can get kills. Everyone else can only kill the Mutant.

Score limit: 15
My Score: Negligible, 4 or less.
Leading Player: 14

Launched a full three rockets right at the point where the Mutant (and leading player) jumped, killing him instantly and making me the Mutant. It's all sort of a blur after that... Well, except for making up that 10-kill discrephancy and winning in a matter of a minute.

I don't even like deathmatch.
(Well, team-deathmatch is sort of fun. :smallwink: )

I had done some practicing in Battlefield 1942 on the D-day map. I liked using the coastal guns, but noone would ever spot for me. Not a problem...after a bit of practice in single player skirmish, I was ready...

Having honed my skills, I joined a map of 64 players looping d-day and joined the Germans...I quickly ran to the gun and was hapy to see that it was unoccupied. Now came the fun part...I had learned how to blind shoot the cannon to hit the ship in the harbor as long as they didn't move it...as a side effect, This meant that occasionally, I would murder a bunch of people running to get into a boat.

I actually managed to sink the ship just before they claimed the flag on the beach. I could tell from 'enemy spotted' signs that there were guys flooding the beach trying to stay alive and claim the beach flag so they could have a spawn...I aimed stright for the flag and let loose a barrage...The allies were forced to hide until the ship came back...someone decided to move the boat then...oh well...

A moment later, they took the flag...now came the hard part...I knew the likely hiding places for snipers and occasionally sent a shell into the boxes that spawned them...but mostly the shells landed with percision on the slopes that lead up the beach to the bunkers...If the enemy was able to get the second spawn, the guns would be next to useless...So I fired over and over always killing people or forcing vehicles to retreat...while they finally managed to take the bunkers, attrition took it's toll and the germans won a stunning victory after half an hour of fighting...I had just over 1/3 of all the team kills...about 350 total (points were set to 1,000)...not a bad days work.

In no particular order:

Playing a knives-and-katanas-only map on The Specialists, revolving around a Matrix-style dojo. I got the grenade powerup and chucked it through the upper floor of the dojo. There's a loud bang and a whizzing sound of shrapnel flying every which way, shortly followed by me getting 4 simultaneous kills.

Then there was the time at a LAN party where I was playing C&C: Generals. Basically everyone played a random side in a random position on Twilight Flame. I got USA, and after an intensive building session rushed two Comanches past the defenses of my friend and right over his power plant, killing first the power, then the barracks, the command center and all his dozers along the way. He lost four or five minutes into the game, basically.

On a deathmatch CS:S server, I got the semi-automatic shotgun on de_dust2, then rushed up the stairs, killed one guy one the way up, another who jumped behind me, then one coming in from the left, one spawning right in front of me, then turned right and ran into B. There I killed one guy sitting in the corner, another coming through the doors, one in the little nook behind the car and a final one coming through the hole in the wall. I'd been desperately reloading the entire time.

I almost managed to down a helicopter on semi-open ground while capturing a command post all by myself while playing BF2, too. I was basically running and covering behind a stack of concrete blocks and taking potshots at him with my rocket launcher, though of course I ran out of ammo just before I would've killed him. I died after capturing the point, blasting away at it with my pistol, Saving Private Ryan-style.

I was dealt a royal flush in poker once, the final game of a (small, admittedly) tournament. My opponent had nothing.

One of my favorites was in Jedi Knight 2. You could do fun moves like somersaults off of walls with force speed. So my friend and I started playing a Deathmatch with Jedi, and we figured out that not only could you run up and somersault off people, but it dealt damage! We proceeded to have a Ninja fight where the only allowed weapon was running up people and kicking them in the face. Definitely a memorable exploit of the physics engine of that game.

Dungeon Keeper 2: Can capture and CONVERT Lord of the Land.

Dungeon Keeper 2: Can capture the KING. But he doesn't convert even after 30 minutes of torture room.

Dungeon Keeper: Managed to free the Avatar from his prison and had HIM destroy the enemy keeper.

Exile 2: Managed to soulcapture Garzahd.

Exile 3: Managed to kill Rentar Ihrno (who's normally invincible).
OK, I admit. I used the editor to heal my party.

BG series: Managed to solo the entire saga with a thief/assasin on normal difficulty (many mods).

BG2: Managed to solo all the way to final Ascention battle on insane.

BG2: Dealt 252 damage on a crit backstab.

Jedi Academy: Managed to disintegrate Alora with the disruptor.

Jedi Academy: Managed to defeat Tavion on master in less than 5 seconds.

Jedi Academy: Managed to defeat Kyle on both normal and master on the first try.

Jedi Academy: Can get halfway without a single saber or gun kill. Force Lightning owns. Force Grip pwns.

Doom Roguelike: Managed to finish on ultraviolence with near %100 killrate.

KotoR: Managed to defeat Bendak Starkiller at level 2. Was going for 18 levels of jedi, but reconsidered later.

KotoR 2: Destroyed anything and everything in my path on the endgame. Only the greater storm beast killed me once. Was killing enemies I didn't even notice with the force storm.

I know a place that two people can hold against an infinite number of zombies, if Infinite ammo is on, and the two people are smart.

Once it was like me and a buddy vs. 14 Zombies, twas awesome.

If infinite ammo isn't on, then one person can hold two-three zombies each, however you need at least one other person, to fire when you reload, unless you're using a Shotgun.

My school's sci-fi club puts on a convention at our school annually, and we have a lot of games there. So I decide I'm going to go and play some Halo 2. We've got two x-boxs linked up, and play 2 vs. 3, at which I completely pwn, because I'm a beast at that game. So I say, "Hey, all for of you on one system, me on the other. Team slayer, Coagulation, four vs. one." I completely expect to get slaughtered.

Final score ends up being 50-0.

Man that sounds fun. In my school, if a teacher saw you with a videogame it got confiscated till the end of the year. Including if it was in your locker during random locker checks. Someone was taking thier PS2 to a friends house, had it in thier locker and got it confiscated for 2 weeks. Only reason they got it back was because thier parents came in and made a fuss. Good thing I graduated, because from what I heard, it's gettting worse.

duke nuke'm (yes the old one :) )

the first mission in deathmatch, we used to play it alot. i found the jetpack in the top and proceed to bring death from above on the street for several frags. then i was out of ammo suddenly and someone else had found a jetpack and was coming after me. so i thought what the heck, he's not getting a kill on me. so i turned of my jetpack and fell to my death. fortunately i hit him on the way down and he was pushed down and killed and i survived without a scrath.

the next 30 mins of the game was spent when 4-5 people tried to kill eachother with jetpacks.

Battlefront 2, playing as clones on Yavin. I run off, do some killing, standard stuff. Until I realize I have a grand total of 2 reinforcements left, to their hundred some-odd. I grab one of the NPC clones and jump into a tank, then run it full speed to the CP above the waterfall. Jump out, capture the post, back in the tank. I sat there for a good five minutes, slaughtering anything that came near. I and my friend in the turret killed every. last. one of the opposing team.

Also Battlefront 2, as rebels on dagobah. Same sort of deal as above. I've got low reinforcements, they've got a lot, and all I've got for weapons is my rifle and pistol, non-upgraded. I holed up in the cave and killed anything that moved. Completely wasted them.

Halo 2, juggernaut on foundation. One guy is the juggernaught, and I've only got two other team members. So after a good deal of trying we manage to kill the juggernaught, with me getting the final shot. I had dual wielding SMG's, as there was no time to get anything better. The rest of that game consisted of open season on Destro, and all the hunters had rockets. I have no idea how I survived that.

I'm sure other people managed this one. But in WoW, when I was about lvl 45-46, I succeeded a 10k-damage hit.

The receipe is (was?) simple: I had the capacity to double damage after a killing blow.

+ Execute with full rage ready

+ critical, boosted

so my Execute was quadrupled. My DPS ratio went WAY over the Mage's and Rogue's.

No infinite ammo. I'm talking about the small room right by the vent. You have a soda machine upright, and the couch behind it and against two walls. The zombs can't push the machine (because the couch is in the way) and they cant move the soda machine (it's in the doorway).

P.S. My name on it is {WoH} catbarf (but I sometimes go undercover as Jacob Gallagher). Hope to see you there sometime.

I also remember the part of Independence War where you have to blow up a base by remote controlling a freighter and flying it into the station- but you find that the freighters are secure and can't be hacked. So what do you do? Dock to it, aim for the station, accelerate, undock, hooray for Newtonian physics. BOOOM.

Completely forgotten, but the best game out there to do cool stuff in is Mercenaries: Playground of Destruction. The amount of firepower you can have boggles the mind, as does the amount of fun you can have with the screwed up physics.

For instance, on time I decide to just save my game and go on a rampage, a frequent thing to do in that game. So I'm out of money, out of ammo, I'm low on health, I have two C4 charges left, and I'm being chased by a gunship. Since I can't shoot it down, I have to improvise. So I grab a civilian car, drive it into an open area, plant a C4 charge under it, and lure the gunship so that it's right above the car.

I then blow the C4, shooting the car up into the gunship. Both explode. I took out a gunship by launching a car into it.

'Twas awesome.

Oh, I just remembered another one - slaughtering goblins on Dark Messiah by standing in a shadowy doorway, backstabbing them as they ran to the bodies of the goblins I'd already killed. Fun.

In the dark hallway that had the health and mana recharge pools? I remember doing that, too.

Another excellent DMoMaM moment: playing a 'fighter' build, at the first fight with the orcs. Grab a cleaver from the first guy, then get in a one-on-one duel with another melee type. Jumping cleave into him, and knock him down. Look down before I reach the ground, and my blade glitches through the ground. If you knock down with a cleave, though, your opponent effectively becomes 'easy-welded' to your blade. This means that when my feet touched the ground and the cleave ended--sproing!

I found his corpse nestled around 40 feet away among some rocks. His sword was on the roof of one of the buildings.

One of my favorite things to do as an assassin or warrior type--if I can get to a position over my opponent, jumping down onto them knocks them down. Once they're knocked down, a few impales and they're done. Done that a lot to zombies.

I've already mentioned purging the orc siege in Gothic II, and sacking the Harpy fortress wearing nothing but digger's pants and using nothing but the Wolf's Tooth blade... Then there was the time I killed two dragons in the demo to Gothic III using a longbow and lots of arrows without taking damage. Ran out of normal arrows the first time I tried it, and ended up KO'ing a dragon with headknocks. Looted his corpse and he stood back up, killing me in one hit.

Dread drop ambushing an overconfident turtler is always fun in DoW. "Oh ****, drop pods... OH ****, ARMOR!"

CS_rats. The game hadn't been going well for the CTs. We were stuck with a few people without too much skill and were routinely getting whomped by the terrorists. This all turned around in the fifteenth round. Double headshot with a single Scout round , compounded by managing to sneak into the enemy's base, knife a sniper and push another guy off of a ledge to his doom, running out of ammo for my primary gun in the middle of a gunfight and then getting a lucky headshot with a desert eagle.

Another good one was on the Casino map where I waited patiently outside a closed door with the Pump-Shotgun. I don't play with headphones, but since I was playing on LAN, I heard the shotgun blast through the headphones of the poor hapless Terrorist that walked through that door. He actually fell out of his chair:smallbiggrin:

When Final Fantasy 1 was released as origins for the Playstation I decided to Solo the game with a Monk and a Red Mage, in a race against each other.

It was pretty funny the Red Mage kicks ass for the first half of the Game and then starts to Suffer. Meanwhile the Monk was suffering the first half and starts to kick ass.

Eventually the Red mage got to the end 3 minutes or something faster than the Monk did.

Also in a MMORPG I decided to try a new low level character and pump him up with a variety of seldom used perks (a lot like feats but you get them instead of gaining levels so overall you are statistically weaker). With this particular combination I killed the strongest monster in the game using suicidal attacks, as penalty for death is always item loss I could die as much as I liked as I was unarmed.

Then I shared my secret with the community and a whole guild sprung up devoted to using this tactic with mass numbers so it was far more effective.

Then the guild leader of the bombers got blamed for all kinds of power imbalances and I got away without issue.

My best moments in gaming:

KotOR:
I forced a Wookie to kill his best friend. Basically, there was a Twilik girl who was paired up with a Wookie; best of friends who watched out for each other. Since I saved the Wookie earlier in the game, he gave me a life oath. Later in the game, I force persuaded him into killing her, since a life debt is greater than a friendship. I felt so evil...

Baldur's Gate 2: Shadows of Amn.
My character was in love with Aerie, but Haer'dalis also vied for her attentions. He challenged me to a duel, but I declined and I won her. I was quite happy.

It's kind of sad that my coolest moments are scripted events, but Bioware does a great job in writing.

Mech4: Vengance.

I was running around about halfway through the game, and was running the solo scouting mission. There are hills all over, and the area is swarming with hovercraft. Fortunately they're all rather weak, so a few LBX rounds tend to splatter them. One of them comes racing over a hill at me, jumps in mid air firing it's repeating laser against my shotgun...shotgun wins. Come on, assault mech vs. hover craft?

The hovercraft proceeds to explode spectacularly in midair...then hangs there, just a piece of hovering wreckage. Use to have a screenshot of it too...

I have just beaten 3 dark jedi in a fair duel in Jedi Academy. What makes this cool is that it's on master difficulty, using exclusively single saber red style vs a staff wielder and two dual wielders, both of which are superior (broken). This is still not the cool thing about it, the real cool thing is that I got a perfect, not even a single shield or health lost.

Of course, they've killed me about 10 times before that, but that's to be expected...

In FF7 I mangaed to walk on the ocean for a bit, before being trapped there (I wish I had saved, it would have been funny). I had a river chocbo and I kept running up to the barrier over and over agian, then dismounted (I was trying to game the system). When I was ont he coean I was like "HOLY ****! Alright, now I dont need the gold chocbo... wait how do I get back after getting KOTR?" then after a little bit of running, I was stuck there.

In Soul Calibur 2 I was playing on the highest setting, and doing excpetionalyl well, having managed to get through without a singkle contiue (I wanted to see if you'd get anything for it). I go to my destined battle (Xianghua... I hate her), it was the final round and we had 1 each, i was almost dead and she 9/10s of her health left, I really didnt want to lose, so i sort of prayed in my head, a voice told me to let her hit me and coutner. I thought this sounded nuts, but I did it, she brought down to a point where you could sneeze on me and I'd die, then I somehow retaliated and did a combo that took of ALL her health. Its wierd, i wasnt mashing my fingers suddenly knew exactly what to press. I've never been able to replicate that combo and it saddens me.

I beat the last boss of FF1 in 3 turns , underlevlled and witha party designed for the early game (Fighter/Fighter/Red Mage/ White mage). Course he is far to easy in the nes verison.

I beat FFt under the "Everything is cheap challenge" (no skills that cost more than 300 jp, no ninjas with martial arts, no equipment that raises stats, absorbs elements or can only be got on chap 4 (Angel ring :( ) ), and drastically under levelled to.
Pwning Wiegrief at lv 22(or something like that) felt good. Chemist, meat bone slash, X potions.

thats all I can think of

One time in my typing class (right before winter break), just about everyone in the class was playing a HALO multiplayer demo thing someone loaded on the computers. I got in a flying bike thingie (Ghost? I don't play the game much) and was going around killing everyone. I wound up coming in second on the round I had entered halfway through. One kid kept yelling "Who the hell is using the username 'Charlie?!?" Note: in RL, my name is Charlie.
