For those not in the know, quori power link shards are crystalline implants that are attached to bones in one's body. They add +2 ML a few times per day when you manifest a psionic power, and they can explicitly break the manifester level limit on manifesting powers. And they stack. You can implant up to 1/HD, but they cause 1 permanent point of hp damage.
Now, these things are slotless and cannot be removed once implanted, so they're good for adding other item abilities to for a +50% surcharge, as per the MIC. What would be good uses for this?
Here are some things I thought up.
1.) Bead of karma. Add +4 to your CL/ML 10 minutes per day.
2.) Klein Thought bottle. Store your XP, spells, or memories to safeguard them for the future.
3.) Kiira n'vaelahr. Bonds with user's body and cannot be removed; can be moved anywhere within user's body via mental action; automatically stores 10 hrs of user's vision and hearing which can then be replayed to the user, but it's hazy, imposing -2 to perception checks in the replay; a standard action of concentration removes the penalty; if desired, replay can include thoughts and feelings; at will - Project stored memories via Major Image
4.) Orange ioun stone. +1 CL/ML.
Anything else you guys can think of? Preferably not things that would kill or permanently maim you if used, such as tree feather tokens...
