Inherent bonus question

If I gain an Inherent bonus, say from a wish or tome, and I wild shape or shapeshift, will I still have that bonus in the new form or is it suppressed?

I believe you would keep it if it is a mental stat, but not if it is a physical stat.

All of the Manuals and Tomes contain the same language:
If anyone reads this book, ... she gains an inherent bonus of ...
The bonus is to the "anyone" (the character), not to the body of the character. You have the bonus regardless of your form.
