Basically I've been considering making/playing a Monk, specifically for a campaign where the DM has a tendency to take players items away sometimes and be a stickler with stuff like hygiene.

So naturally I'm looking at the different Vows so that these things have a minimal impact on my character.
However, reading through the Vow's one main question pops up in my mind.

How would I properly use most of these Vows? From both an RP and Gameplay perspective what are certain ways you can guys think of act out certain vows, or play a character in a way that they limitation is minimal, or in some cases turned into a benefit?

Well, a vow of fasting would protect you against people trying to poison your food or drink, or to get you drunk to get you to act without thinking. Likewise, a vow of chastity protects you against certain forms of manipulation.
