I always hear about people doing silly things with their advanced monsters along the lines of Tucker's Kobolds (http://1d4chan.org/wiki/Tucker%27s_Kobolds) or one time someone telling tale of a hydra with a level or two of rogue that successfully snuck up on the party.
From that, what are your personal favorite advancements that you used once or regularly use? Bonus points if they can be used against my current 3rd level (soon to be 4th level) party I DM for. Cheers!
