Two weapons intrigue me, but are a bit sparse for stats.

The Claw Bracer of the Reth Dekala (ToB, p.154): we know it's 1d6 and 20/x2 critical, but that's about it. Presumably it's a light, slashing weapon? From the illustration, it appears to be a worn weapon, similar to a spiked gauntlet.

Also, the Steelclaw of the Urskan (p.159): 1d12 damage (for a large creature, presumably 1d10 for medium), and again, a 20/x2 critical. From the illustration, appear to be worn over normal claws.

How would you flesh these out? Simple, martial, or exotic? Weight? Cost?

Cheers - T

The Claw Bracer appears in several 3.0 sources (A&EG, FRCS), but I don't think it was ever updated to 3.5, and I have no idea where they found a version that's 1d6 instead of 1d4. I want to say there's something similar in Sandstorm, but the Eagle's Claw, Manople, and Scorpion Claws are just... different.

Steelclaws... huh. Never noticed these before. Any 1d10 one-handed or light weapon would have to be exotic. Urskans are proficient with steelclaws, but I don't see any TWF penalty... so they are being wielded as natural weapons. I'd be inclined to say something like, "an urskan wearing this weapon may make claw attacks with it as if it were a natural weapon, except the damage is increased...", and there we run into something of a problem as I want to say "by one damage step", but 1d8 -> 2d6, not 1d12. Can a creature without claws wield a steelclaw?
