Ready Aim Fire Round 12!

Silkenfist put this game on hold. I couldn't let such a fun game die. He has kindly given me permission to continue the murder and mayhem. And maybe he'll even consent to play :-)
I can't promise anything like his quality of writing, but lets just see how things go eh?
Sign up here for the next round of Ready, Aim, Fire!

Theme: Worms!
This round will be based on the classic computer game Worms (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Worms_%28computer_game%29).
Each of you will represent a worm, armed with various lethal weapons (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Worms_weapons_and_tools), in an all out battle to the death!
In addition to sending in your action of Shoot [target], Shoot air or Shoot self you may also optionally choose your weapon for attacking. I'll probably set some limitations on which weapons can be used - we can't have everyone using Holy Hand Grenades and Banana bombs.

Registration closed. First round action deadlin Wed 23 May 2007

This is a story of courage, honour and worms.

War had cast a shadow over their once peaceful land,
Gunfire filled the air, as worm turned against worm;
Where so many had fallen, others knew they must follow.
For one such worm, this day had already come.
When he was two, his father had left, never to return.
Three years he had waited for his chance to fight;
Three years of training, both day and night.
And though he was scared as he set off for battle,
He knew in his heart that it was something he must do.
Three inches tall, and armed to the teeth,
A fine soldier he made, and his name was Maggy Tok.

We are worms, we're the best, and we've come to win the war
We'll stand, we'll never run, stay until it's done
Though our friends may fall, and our world be blown apart
We'll strike with all our might
We'll fight for what is right till the end.

Scrambling up a hill and hiding behind a tree,
He looked at the battle that raged below.
It was there he saw his friend Spadge stood upon a bridge.
But another worm had also seen him, and aimed to have him dead
Maggy called to Spadge, but Spadge didn't hear,
He never knew what hit him, as he flew into the air.
It was all too much for Maggy, as he watched his best friend die.
Charging down the hill he had to have revenge,
What had Spadge done to come to such an end?
Reaching the bottom of the hill, Maggy suddenly heard a click:
He realized to his terror there was a mine under his tail!

We are worms, we're the best, and we've come to win the war
We'll stand, we'll never run, stay until it's done
Though our friends may fall, and our world be blown apart
We'll strike with all our might
We'll fight for what is right till the end.

Hitting several cliffs and landing in a tree,
Maggy pulled himself together, there was much he had to do.
Spotting the enemy down below, he knew this was his chance.
Maggy grabbed a stick of dynamite and dropped it on his head.
The enemy, he tried to run, but all he could really do was squirm,
As the fuse ran out there was a mighty BANG, and everywhere were bits of worm.
With their leader blown to kingdom come, the enemy they turned and ran!
Maggy bungeed from the tree and landed safely on the ground.
As he watched the enemy squirm away, the cry went up: "We've won the war!"

We are worms, we're the best, and we've come to win the war
We'll stand, we'll never run, stay until it's done
Though our friends may fall, and our world be blown apart
We'll strike with all our might
We'll fight for what is right till the end.

Many Moons had passed since the worms went to war
Onwards and upwards, bigger weapons than before.

Boggy B took cover, he shivered on patrol
The arms race crazy, simply way out of control

Then his friend threw it, the latest device
Boggy B went and got it, against all advice

"what the?!" *Boom*

His tail was split and his energy lost
How many more will this dreaded war cost?

Then came the new kind of disease tumbling down
If the bug didn't get you, you'd probably drowned

But the worms battled on, through hunger and pain
Living to fight, just to victor, again

And now its the curtain call, the final onslaught
No better bullet could you possibly have bought

But spare a thought for Boggy, and with it, his friend
So fight with their honor, and fight until the end.

Ahh worms, one of the best games I've ever played. I'm totally in this.

I fire a flamethrower (one of my favorite weapons) into Lord Magtok! (I just made a CPU team made of a bunch of Magtok clones  .

At this point registration is open until Friday 18 May to give everyone a chance to sign up.
Once I close registration and start the game you will have 48 hours to submit your actions to me via PM.

Unfortunately the forum software can't handle the 3d graphics, so I think I'll just stick with the tried and true Worms Armageddon style.

- Mines will have a 0 second time delay (touch a mine and BOOM!)
- Crates are on.
- Sudden death after 5 rounds (if we get that far)
- The map will be an "islands style" so there is the opportunity of dropping people into the water (Home run with the baseball bat!)
- Standard weapons available.
- Unlimited Bazooka/Grenade
- Limited to 3 cluster bombs, 1 baseball bat and 2 Ninja ropes.
- Air strikes and superweaponse will only be available on the 3rd round as they are too powerful early on.

A little different from the norm.

Ready Aim Fire Round 12!

Choice of weapons could lead to some hilarious results. I foresee several deaths by Prods and possible a few explosive sheep as well.

pingcode20
2007-05-19, 09:20 PM
Or death by the harmless.

"Pingcode passes the time skipping with a jump rope, moving slowly behind Evnafets and suddenly garroting him with the strong yellow cord"

Or, better yet, killing someone with 'Select Worm'

"Pingcode wills his consciousness into Evnafets and jumps him off a cliff. Splat."

Heck, even the Surrender Flag!

"Pingcode sits there, waving a little white flag. Evnafets notices him, and starts to walk by. Pingcode suddenly raises the flag and beats Evnafets' skull in with it."

Lots of fun with the ridiculously non-lethal to be had.

inky13112
2007-05-20, 12:45 PM
I think the narrator should be forced to write the narration in prose like the worms songs

And it will be interesting to see how someone manages to only kill one enemy with a weapon like say... a banana bomb or concrete donkey.

If you think you should be on this list and are not PM ME IMMEDIATELY!

Send your actions to evnafets NOT to Silkenfist. Unless you want to inform the enemy what you're doing :-)
Your actions can be
"Shoot [target]"
"Shoot Self (suicide)"
"Shoot in the air."

If you are familiar with worms and want to use a specific worm weapon, then that would be cool. I'll try and work it into the narrative. No promises though.
Use actions like:
"Shoot [target] with [weapon]"
"Commit suicide using [weapon]"
"Shoot in the air / Use utility [utility]"

For those who want to go to the dark side and use blowtorches/drills that will count as a "Shoot in the air", but just gives me a few more options for story-telling.

Send in your actions until Wed 23 May 2007.

The Greate Wyrm is Dead!

All of wormdom is in mourning today after the passing of the Greate Wyrm, otherwise known as the the "Big E". In an unfortunate accident, the great ruler counted to five before attempting to throw a Holy Hand Grenade, forgetting the fundamental rule that "Three shall be the number thou shalt count, and the number of the counting shall be three." Court reporters consistently deny the presence of glue on the hand grenade, and are backing up their assertions with miniguns.
Under the reign of the Greate Wyrm, the realm has experienced it's longest ever period of peace and prosperity(3 weeks). Now its seems that we are to again descend into anarchy. New armaments have been ordered. Ancient Heirlooms used by grandparents have been pulled out of dusty closets. The agriculture sector is reporting an huge increase in cattle rustling, affecting sheep, cows and even the occasional donkey. The airforce has been scrambled, the navy is standing by, and the undertakers office is preparing for a mass influx of worm casualties as the entire royal family enters into a free for all in attempt to be the last worm standing, and take the place of "Big E" as ruler of the realm.

With the root of the world torn up before their eyes, it is too much for some to handle. In their sorrow, they attempt to follow their beloved leader into the afterlife.

Shadow pulls out a homing missile, targets it on the ground he is standing, and lets fly at full power into the air. Knowing the missile will return soon, he closes his eyes to say his final prayers.

Akaziel also decides to end his life but with a simple grenade rather than the missile. Settings its fuse for 10 seconds, pulls the pin sets it on the ground to await the inevitable. Before this can happen though, Faerwain taps him on the shoulder. "Happy Birthday Akaziel! Here I've baked a cake for you! We just need to light the dynami... er candle so you can make a wish. Got a light?". Akaziel responds "certainly", and heads into his house to find a match, leaving Faerwain and the grenade on his doorstep. A minute or so (and a large explosion) later Akaziel returns with a blowtorch - "couldn't find a match - will this do? Faerwain? Where did you go? And where did this big smoking hole come from?"

Meanwhile Shadow's homing missile reaches the peak of its trajectory, and switches on its homing beacon. Slowly, ever so slowly, it begins its curve back to its starting point. In its shadow, HyramGraff has armed himself with a flamethrower and is on the hunt for the cyborg known as LordMagtok, hoping to melt him into a pile of slag.

One extremist cult, the followers of the Concrete Donkey, have read the signs and know that the death of the Greate Wyrm signifies armageddon. The Grand Hee-Haw BassetKing along with the favoured Castaras, Calamity and DarkLightDragon start dancing around their altar in expectation of the immediate reincarnation of their Deity in this world, along with their favoured status as disciples if they are the first to be killed by his hand. Just over the top of the hill, Alarra and DarkCorax, Worshippers of the Asphalt Ass (sworn enemies of the Followers of the Concrete Donkey) are plotting against them. Shotguns are produced, and levelled at the Grand Hee-Haw, just as the ceremony reaches a crucial moment. BassetKing's eyes widen: THE SAVIOUR RETURNS - see how he plummeteth, squishing all in his path. I am ready to die for the donkey!
The concrete donkey, in the ... er ... flesh? drops like a ... well ... like a concrete Donkey, heading right for its dedicated followers to smash them into oblivion. Just as BassetKing's fate seems assured, Alarra and DarkCorax let fly with their shotguns. They score only glancing blows, but push BassetKing out of the path. NOOOOOOOOO! comes the cry from BassetKing as his promised doom at the hands of the donkey is ripped from him, and its blessing instead falls on Alarra, DarkCorax, Castaras, Calamity and DarkLightDragon, hurrying them on to the afterlife. The Donkey forgives even those who worship the Asphalt. Angela comes by to mourn the fallen Alarra and leave a candle burning in her memory (4,3,2,1 BOOM!). If Alarra wasn't dead already, she is now.

A worm who has made many enemies, Silkenfist is expecting to come under attack at any moment. He has armed himself with a baseball bat ready to send any incoming grenades back to whence they came. Thus far there have been no incoming, but he stands ready nonetheless.

Pingcode, is holding a skipping rope. Is he wanting to skip his go? Do nothing? No - it appears not. He is on the move! Up and over the hill, up behind Shadow who is still standing there waiting for oblivion. He is holding the rope like a garotte! He is going to strangle the unknowing Shadow from behind! Hold on a moment though, whats that beeping?

Weebl is known as "The worm who walks". And walking he is. Look at that worm go! He must have picked up a 2x move speed boost this turn. There he goes, past Shadow and Pingcode, past the hole in the ground next to Akaziels house, past the Altar of the Concrete Donkey, over the hill and off the edge of the cliff into the water. I guess some worm lemmings just don't know when to stop. He's going to be walking all the way to worm heaven.

Silkenfist is getting a little bored with no grenades to hit, takes a practice swing or two with his own grenades. Kids - don't try this at home. You see if you set the fuse too short, and then you miss hitting the grenade away - kinda like Silkenfist is doing now, then what happens is that explodes right by your toe and ... well - you can't ask for a better example than that now can you? Sometimes we can only learn from anothers mistake.

HyramGraff finally finds his foe LordMagtok encased in ice. It seems that in his despair at the collapse of civilization Lord Magtok has called upon his cryogenic equipment to freeze him in the hope that he will emerge unharmed into a safer world. Not if HyramGraff can help it. Turning the flamethrower to full he sends multiple gouts of flame against the ice. He succeeds in melting the ice. Unfortunately the water released by the process flows downhill and carries HyramGraff away in a flash flood. LordMagtok emerges from his cryogenic suspension cold, but alive.

The unfortunate problem with the Mk2 homing missile, is its poor maneuverability once the homing beacon is activated. While it handles straight lines quite well, the rocket can only turn so fast. It appears that Shadow has miscalculated, and the homing missile, rather than landing on him, will land behind him. On Pingcode! We have a crater! We have flying worms. Looks like Shadow has survived (taking a bit of damage there) but there is nothing left of Pingcode except the rope. Oh well.

Bookman and Captain "Fluffy" are playing a game all of their own. Captain Fluffy throws a grenade into the air, and Bookman targets it with his shotgun.
Something like Skeet Shooting. They are both happy firing their weapons harmlessly into the air, and ignore the happenings around them.

KewlKat has his construction hat on. Looks like he's going to build a girder to act as a shield against falling missiles. A very useful tactic in a battle like this. Yes there it goes. He should be relatively safe from airborne attack. Hold on, who's that creeping up on him? Its the identical twin brothers, Ink and Inky. Looks like they're hatching some dastardly plan together. They're reaching for weapons ... bazooka? no .. grenade? no Sheep? no ... its ... a blowtorch?!?
Inky has the blowtorch and is advancing on KewlKats position - KewlKat has flinched? Inky is herding him along with the flame of the torch. Oh no! There goes KewlKat pushed over the edge into the water. Ink and Inky look on in satisfaction as KewlKat takes his last swim, and then take refuge under the constructed girder.

It looks like we have a one on one duel happening over this end of the field. Atreyu the Masked Llama vs Purple Gelatinous cube o' Doom. Both are masters of the pistol, they have never been known to miss. Looks like this is happening in the standard duelling tradition. Back to back. Advance three wiggles, turn and fire. Here they go. Step 1...2..3..turn and (bang!). Oh my gosh! Shots to the forehead in both cases. Looks like they're both down! MEDIC! Here come Aegeus and El Jaspero on the scene. Are they going to help? Aegues seems to be donning a headband while, El J is rummaging in his case for ... a flamethrower? He plays it over the body of Atreyu. Looks like char-grilled worm-llama is on the menu tonight. Aegeus singes the remains of cube, with a dragon ball on the body. I guess its jelly for dessert.

Captain Van Der Decken decides to dedicate himself to the gods, and go out with a bang He bows his head in prayer, and prepares himself.
The gods smile upon him and fill him with holy power. Launching into a straight trajectory he tunnels through the landscape culminating in an earthshattering explosion. And is gone.
Lord Herman has similar ideas. Head bowed in prayer, he doesn't hear the wiggle behind him. Alec has a pistol in hand. In fact he has it to the head of Lord Herman. He can't miss at this range can he? The finger tightens on the trigger... and the gods intervene. Lord Herman is filled with holy power, channeling all of it into a kamikaze attack, heedless of the cost, he moves faster then a speeding bullet and delivers Alec into Oblivion. Having thus diverted the energy, he has none left to divert into his own suicide.

A bunch of worms just appear to be in shock. Deckmaster, DestroYersul, HivemindGhost, Khantalas, Lucky, Rumda, Strategos and Thes Hunter all stand rooted like statues while the timer counts down. In fact only one of them notices the Bazooka fired by Zar Peter shoot over their heads. "Phew" says Lucky. "That was lucky". Behind his back, the bazooka shell reverses direction in the teeth of a strong wind, and falls back down on his head. Guess he's not so lucky after all.

MrEdwardNigma, Krursk both turn to the dark side, burrowing into the side of a hill in an attempt to escape from the carnage filling the outside world.

Once the smoke and fire subsides, we look around to see who is alive, and who is not.

Well, two timeouts in a row is an auto-kill. That ought to stop a few idlers. If anyone else is chronically idle, I guess that a few active worms can "take care of it".

By the way, when you said the results would go up on Sunday, May 28th, did you mean Sunday the 27th, perhaps? Or was it Monday, the 28th?

evnafets
2007-05-27, 04:44 PM
Yes I just noticed that myself.
I intended Sunday, and just didn't read the date right. Or didn't do the mental arithmetic right. It was on a Friday afternoon that I posted that :-)

The problem is one of Timezones. Right now I'm in Monday, while most of the board is still on Sunday. So I think I mentally went back a day.

Bottom line, I'll leave the actions open for another little while but not too long I think :-)

Sorry, don't have a lot of time for brilliant narrative right now.
Have to be in a meeting in 5. Heres what I have to date.
-----------------------

BassetKing, peppered with shotgun pellets, and shaken by seeing his deity in the flesh, rededicates himself as a follower of the Concrete Donkey. And there are no Worshippers of the Asphalt Ass to interfere this time. The Donkey claims its own.

Aegeus is a very inquisitive worm, and can't seem to stop prodding and poking anything he finds. Todays item of interest appears to be a large green barrel. You know what Aegeus, I wouldn't poke that thing if I were you. It looks dan...
uhhhh... never mind. Its too late I think.

El Jaspero has moved on from dinner to duelling pistols. Thes Hunter is the target of his ire. El J stands back to back with her, moves the requisite three wiggles, turns and fires. Thes seems rather accepting of her fate, not even blinking as the bullets hit her.

In honour of their fallen comrades, a 21 gun salute is arranged by Akaziel, Bookman, Captain Fluffy, Ink and Zar Peter. Unfortunately it seems that even this can't go right. Bookman, Captain Fluffy and Ink all manage to fire the shotguns into the air safely. Zar Peter somehow manages to miss hitting the air and succeeds in fatally wounding Captain Fluffy instead. Akaziel chosing a bazooka instead of a shotgun, made a mistake in firing straight into the wind. Its not a mistake you get the opportunity to make twice.

Lord Herman decides to leave a trap for his fellow worms to encounter and leaves a mine on the landscape quickly moviing away from it and towards the firing party.

Meanwhile the radio frequencies have been running hot with requests for reinforcements. Half a dozen air drops are on the way to turn the conflict. Destro_Yersul standing on a hill observing the firing party takes this opportunity to send in his orders for an airstrike. Lord Herman sees the bombs dropping, and reverses direction. Unfortunately Bookman did not see the incoming bombs, and is nowhere to be found when the smoke clears.

LordMagtok standing a bit further away observes Destro's call, and radios for his own. With two airstrikes already done today, and the postal service also all tied up, the best that can be managed is a cargo plane of livestock. Like Lord Herman, Destro sees the drop coming in time to make a run for it. Unfortunately Shadow was watching and a quick murmer into his communicator teleports Destro back into the center of the target. Destro has just enough time to count the incoming sheep before they send him to his eternal sleep.

In his underground tunnel, MrEdwardNigma rubs his hands together in glee, as his monitor shows a looping action replay of Rumda being taken out by the air strike he ordered (Narrowly missing Lord Herman again). So engrossed is he with his success, he fails to notice Inky standing at the entrance to his tunnel light a petrol bomb, and toss it down his way. Inky slowly squirms away as MrEdwardNigma dies a fiery death.

Krursk also underground has ordered in a mail strike. Despite the loss of the ruler, the postal service it seems actually delivers. The target areas right now seems to contain one Lord Herman. Lord Herman who sees the third plane incoming reverses direction yet again, and manages to get out from under the falling letters. A substantial area of the landscape is destroyed, but there are no casualties.

Thanking his lucky stars that he has been narrowly missed by three air strikes, Lord Herman is still running. Its a pity he forgot about the mine he left in this direction. An explosion followed by a flying worm heralds the end of poor Lord Herman.

Angela, Deckmaster, HivemindGhost, Khantalas and Strategos, overcome by the slaughter going on around them just sit and watch the world go by with blank expressions on their faces.

Good evening and welcome to the Worm News at 9.
Tonight we have a special report on global warming, We follow Tiger Worms' progress through the local golf championship, and we show you the mother who gave birth to 16 identical baby worms. Also we have the latest on the struggle for the succession, and boy has today been action packed! Hand to hand combat, gunfire, mortars, high technology and even the farm animals are getting into the fray.
More on this after a word from our sponsor

----

Renowned Scientist Albert Wormstein today painted a grim portrait of increasing heat waves, droughts, water shortages and wildfires accompanied by more severe thunderstorms, flooding and coastal erosion. Low-lying areas such as El Wormo, Wormland and San Wormisco areas could be under water by 768AW if seawalls aren't erected to protect them from the already rising sea. And some bird and fish species could become extinct as ecological changes affect their local habitat.

"This is not fantasy," said Wormstein - "These sorts of things are already occurring."

One of the most striking examples of climate change can already be seen on the island where the succession is being fought out. Because of global warming, the sea level is already seven inches higher than it was little more than three turns ago. If those worms don't get to higher ground soon, then they might become casualties.
----

And now to the succession. A few rounds ago, close to 40 worms entered the contest. Todays conflict whittled the remaining candidates down to less than 5.

The most bloody kill of the day was executed by Inky13112. This worm has been entertaining the masses. First blow torching his first victim off a cliff, and using a Petrol Bomb last round we were expecting a lot from Inky today, and we were not to be disappointed! Brandishing a double headed battle axe, Inky crept up behind the unsuspecting Angela, and clove her in two. Thats cutting the opposition down to size!

Inky's twin brother Ink also did well, disposing of Krursk with the classic stick of dynamite. Unfortunately it seems that he did not live to tell the tale. The Pirate Ship "The Black Worm" captained by the Infamous Pirate King El Jaspero sent a broadside of cannon fire at him just as he thought he had gotten away free.

In todays close escapes, the worm of the moment was Shadow. Pulling out his communicator, Scotty beamed him up to higher ground moments before the sheep sent against him rampaged through his area. Not finding its designated target, the sheep turned around and went home giving its owner Zar Peter an explosive surprise.

The action is still happening as we speak. We cross now live to our brave Worm reporter on the spot, Wilma. We are obliged to warn our viewers that some of the content in this report may disturb some viewers Go ahead Wilma
-------
"Thank you. With relation to the global warming, it is true. The water has been rising here quite fast, and several worms are missing in action. Strategos and Hivemind ghost have not been seen early this morning, and it appears that they may have been drowned in the floods.
We are here with Khantalas, a surviving candidate for the great wormdom. Khantalas, you've been very quiet in the competition to date, what can we expect to see from you this round?"
"Well Wilma, if you just watch here a moment, you'll see the end of one my rivals. I have here my trusty mortar tube, and its aimed over at yonder cavern."
"Yes, I was wondering about that. You don't seem to have it aimed at any worm in particular - what is your plan?"
"Well my old foe Deckmaster is sitting under that there rock, and when I pull this lever like so <an explosion> the mortar will fire its payload into the roof of yonder cavern, and rebound down onto the floor all around Deckmaster. Kinda like that."
"Oh great shot! It definitely looks like you will be one of the candidates to watch if you continue like this - back to you in the studio - hold on - whats that? Is it a bird? Is it a plane? No its a Super..." bzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
-------

Hmmm. We seem to have lost contact with our roving reporter Wilma and the candidate Khantalas. Satellite reports show the launch of a Super Sheep in the area, and ... just coming in now ... credit for this kill has been claimed by one "Lord Magtok".

That ends the headlines for the evening. We hope you will join us again very soon for more of the latest from the Worm News at 9

The last 24 hours have seen carnage even worse than before it was possible. Grenades, Mortars and bullets were flying all through the night, culminating in someone launching a nuke. It looks like the EM Pulse from the nuclear strike was too much for Lord Magtok and the cyborg-worm has finally been driven over the edge into insanity. Ignoring his high-technology implants for miniguns, grenade launchers and other fun explosives, he picks up a common baseball bat and proceeds to bash his own head in. A sad end.

The landscape has now diminished to two islands standing above sea level. Inky on one, Shadow and El Jaspero on the other. The battle of attrition continues. Worms are dead. Munitions are low, competitors are forced to scrounge around for anything at all to take out their enemy.

Inky is taking this to extremes. Crossing a missile launcher with livestock he is now brandishing a Sheep Launcher?!?
The launcher rockets the sheep (wearing a helmet for safety reasons) across the divide, where it walks up to El Jaspero before fulfilling its final function and blowing him to smithereens.

Shadow meanwhile merely pulls out his skipping rope, and gets some training in for the final showdown.

And so it looks as if I really do get to defend my title this time.
What to do... what to do...

Nooooo! I thought you all hated me! How dare you make me feel appreciated by not trying to kill me! You were all supposed to attack me!

We don't all hate you!
I, in fact, cherish my Maggie!

I hope you're talking about the trophy, Shadow.

I'm suprised there's been no mention of The Buffalo of Lies, or any of the other Worms religions.

What?
You don't want everyone to know of my pet name for you....?

Now the only question left is what action you took. Me? I shot someones grave marker. If were playing Worms 2 thats a viable strategy for killing you :smalltongue:

May the best Worm win, worm!

On the scarred and pitted landscape littered with the gravestones of fallen worms, the final combatants face eachother over the divide. What would their opponent do? The worm named Inky has been consistently on the attack, taking out worm after worm, leaving an impressive trail of carnage. Would he continue that record or change tactics to confuse his foe? By contrast Shadow has been varying his actions to great effect, predicting what his foes would do against him. But can he predict Inky?

Neither worm seems to be doing much right now, just standing on their respective hills, each eyeballing the other. No movement, no weapons. Just staring.

But wait...whats that sound? We have an incoming flight of bombers. Letting loose their deadly load, enveloping one of the islands in a fiery rain-storm.

Inky: "Don't you just love the smell of Napalm in the morning? Smells like victory".

We have a winner! Inky13112 is the Worm Supremo of RAF 12!

Damn it!
Well done Inky.
I was torn between whether to shoot myself or the air.
I thought that you might actually commit suicide for once this round, and therefore I went with the air.
I was wrong.

Yay!

Thank you! Thank you! *takes crown* I actually was going to suicide, and then suddenly I realized. It wasn't about the win, it was about the track record. What good would it be to win if I had to compromise my morals and not shoot at someone every single round? So I switched to shooting at Shadow, and keeping with my firey theme, (fun fact 3 of 5 of my attacks used fire) I decided a napalm strike would be a good choice. Never the less, well played Shadow, you were about 15 seconds of idle thought from victory.

And may I commend Evnafets, both for skillful narration, and for bringing back this deliciously fun game. Can't wait to defend my title next round.

Good Game everyone.

*DLD waits patiently for the next round. She knows she will have another winning streak eventually. Right now she is replaying in her head the moments of glory from games 7 and 8. She spots Inky, the winner of this round, and approaches him*

Congratulations, little squirrel. Oh, and you're not the Grand Champion yet. Not by a long shot. I look forward to testing you next time...

...LONG LIVE 4TH DEGREE!

*DLD flies off into the skies*

((It's become a tradition for me to do that at the end of my games. Hehe!))

The Red Mage-Worm staggers to his feet. "It was worth it to commit suicide by Prod, just to see what would happen."

See you next round!
