Based off the D&D satire campaign he's working on Real Ultimate Power! D20... he's going to make several classes, (most notably pirate and ninja) but also a third class, the samurai! The only "good" class so to speak!

*The Samurai*
The Samurai is perhaps the only "good" class in the world of real ultimate power! Not trying to acheive for selfish gain but rather for order or vengance upon an assaliant...

Class Features: The following are the class features of The Samurai

Weapon and Armor Proficiency: Samurai are proficient with all simple weapons, martial weapons, and one exotic weapon of thier choice.
Samurai are proficient with all shields and armor.

Honor Bound:
The honor-bound is a special penalty that applies to samurai, rather then alignment they are expected to follow this honor-bound as best as humanly possible. Though the honor-binding can be anything you and your GM could thinkup, a prime example would be not being able to bluff. If you made the consciouss effort to bluff, you become a dishonored samurai and can no longer gain levels in samurai untill you atone, samurai cannot multi-class into ninja, nor can ninja multi-class into samurai!

When said "best as humanly possible" it was meant to be taken seriously, no arguments about mind-control, the samurai must make the consciouss choice to disrupt his honor contract.

Favored Enemy:
As the ranger's ability.

Smite:
1/day per samurai level, as an extraordinary ability, the samurai may add +X to his attack and damage roll, (weter melee, ranged, or throwing) X being equal to his charisma modifier. What constitutes who the samurai can smite is either his favored enemies list, or has an alignment that is not his own. Applying smite is a free action, and you can stack smites onto eachother.
(Regardless of your charisma modifier this will always do atleast +1)

Combat Style:
As the ranger's ability.

Favored Dodge:
You gain an AC bonus equal to your favored enemy bonus against that specific favored enemy.

Intimidate The Enemy:
You gain a bonus on intimidate checks equal to your favored enemy bonus against that specific favored enemy.

Tactical Advantage:
Add your favored enemy bonus when making trip, disarm, or bullrush attacks against that specific favored enemy.

Damage Reduction:
As the barbarian's ability.

Elude Touch:
You gain +2 AC bonus.

No Threat To Me:
Your favored enemies cannot take attacks of oppurtunity against you.

Shogun:
You gain an attack and damage bonus with non-magic weapons equal to your charisma modifier.

Improved Elude Touch:
Add your charisma modifier to your AC.
(Regardless of cha modifier this will always add atleast +1)

Bushido:
Add your charisma modifier to your massive damage threshold.
(Regardless of cha modifier this will always add atleast +1)

Greater Elude Touch:
Add your wisdom modifier to your AC.
(Regardless of wis modifier this will always add atleast +1)

What rules are you using for massive damage? The normal 50 wouldn't be affected very much by this...
