Try Pathfinder. It's a similar system, and it has a whole firearms subsystem available for use.

Not in first party 3.5. Pathfinder has the Gunslinger, and most PF classes have a gun-based archetype, but 3.5 didn't really do guns at all.

you mean the rules and stuff are the same? My DM is not skilled with pathfinder, will it be easy for him to understand this class?

i just want to play with firearms other thank bow and arrow. Can i use it in other editions as well like 5e?

Pathfinder is FAR more similar to 3.5 than 5e. 5e and 3.5 have almost nothing in common. Pathfinder is sometimes referred to as 3.75: The underlying system is the same, but there area number of little changes.

However, it is also a very simple process to use Pathfinder's gun rules in 3.5 They don't actually require any changes, aside from porting in the class that was meant to use it (Gunslinger)

i see :) ok then i will have it a try...just your personal taste will you go as a gunslinger for a ranged class instead on ranger/rogue or other bow/crossbow user?

Here is a link to the Gunslinger (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/classes/base-classes/gunslinger) class.

There aren't any classes per se which are capable as operating as a gunwielding class.

However, if you're up for a bit of modification of the fluff, an Artificer and/or Cannith Wand Adept can become an effective wand slinger, crafting cheap wands and using magical effects to represent ammunition.

There are variant *rules* within the DMG for guns, but ammunition may be rare if you bother to keep track of it.

D20 Modern has a lot of stuff for guns too, and it's pretty easy to mix with 3.5.

Dragon #321 had rules for guns as well. They were treated as slightly stronger crossbows, mechanically. Personally, I prefer how they were handled there to how Pathfinder's guns work.

Also, no malfunctions...

The Targeteer fighter from dragon #310 can get proficiency with a few guns easily enough and it is just another type of projectile weapon as far as enchantments and feats go. The DM may indeed make bullets rare(and rightfully so in a medieval setting) but the rules for rarer mundane items as I recall is just a 50% or 100% price increase to represent a specialty store or having them hand-made for you. AFB ATM but AE&G had something to say on the subject. Rule 0 can always change that however.

i want to go with a simple firearm class thats all. Dont need the best one ever cause think my be complex. Our DM is not the most experienced ever and not really experienced other than 3.5 books
