Dispelling Temporary hit points?

If I have temporary hit points granted to me by a spell with an instantaneous duration and then I am hit by a dispel magic, do I still have the hit points or are they, as an effect of the spell, removed?

Spells with an instantaneous duration cannot be dispelled. You keep your temporary hit points. Same reason why Dispel Magic won't heal someone who was hit by a Magic Missile.
