Since I started 3rd Ed., I always assumed that Greyhawk was just the 'de facto' realm that a non-specific game was played in (that is, if you're not in the Eberron, or FR settings). However, I've picked up some published adventures (Exp. To Castle Ravenloft, Red Hand of Doom) and those adventures make reference to specific regions and areas of Greyhawk, which leads me to believe that somewhere in a 3rd (or 3.5) ed. publication, a map of Greyhawk exists (otherwise the books are making empty suggestions). Does one exist anywhere?

Greyhawk is a city and a castle, which probably isn't what you want a map for. The world is called Oerth (just like in FR the world is Faerun). Castle Ravenloft isn't in Greyhawk as far as I know.

There's a living Greyhawk site that might have a map.

Heh, yes, that's one resource (amongst many online ones, such as Ivid the Undying (http://www.io.com/~wmallman/files/Ivid%20v3.pdf) and the associated Maps on the D&D Old Edition Downloads Page). What you are looking for, though, is the 3.x Greyhawk Gazetteer (http://home.flash.net/~brenfrow/3e/gaz.htm). Frankly, the best purchase I ever made for D&D 3.x with regards to running Default One Off Adventures or Short Campaigns (it has a great big colour map provided with it).

Ravenloft was originally in Greyhawk, I think, but I could be wrong.

Awesome! Thanks!

Yeah, Oerth is what I'm looking for. Ravenloft itself isn't there, though it's biggest chunk of land was annexed from there (Darkon). However, in the recent 'Expedition to Castle Ravenloft' expansion (which is a remake of the original 1st Ed. (2nd ed? I have it at home, I'll have to check) adventure, before Ravenloft was its own demiplane) the plane itself isn't established, only Barovia. To make it more seamless, they suggest on where you can insert Barovia into the realm in a place that makes the most sense (they list the geographical location it should be in Greyhawk, Eberron, FR and d20 Modern).

I'll have to check out that Gazeteer.

As for Ravenloft, as far as I can remember, Barovia (Original domain) was in a never-specified world, same with Lamordia (2nd Domain). Darkon (3rd Domain) is very similar to a section of land in Oerth (that Azalin comes from).

I've been using a slightly modded Greyhawk for a few years.

Here's the current version, (http://i134.photobucket.com/albums/q105/henebryc/wog.png) if anyone's interested. If you'd prefer the original files, send me a private message.

The advantage of a big image file like this one is that you can easily make modifications. The image has a very limited palatte of colors, again a useful feature if you want to sketch in new changes that look as though they belong on the original map. It's harder to measure distances than on a hex map, but it looks nicer and can be easlily modded.
