Angelic Races

I have a pretty simple question. I have been searching around a lot for a well thought out Angel homebrew. Of course, I have seen many but they all seem a bit lackluster. However, I have faith that there is a good Angel homebrew out there and fortunately you guys are always able to dig things up that I fail to. I appreciate all your responses.

Plain and simple, can anyone provide me with thoroughly made Angel homebrew. LA does not matter.

I don't know about homebrew, but the Winged Creature template from Savage Species gives you, well, wings. The Unseelie Fey template from Dragon Compendium also gives you wings, with some seasonal powers and DR to boot. You could throw either on a human and add the +2 LA Saint template to make a flying, holy, angelic being.

Winged + Saint costs as much as the easy angel, Half-Celestial.

Savage Species has progressions for Trumpet Archon and Astral Deva, both of which look like angels.
