Improved Damage (Ex)

Source: PRG:APG

One of the eidolon’s natural attacks is particularly deadly. Select one natural attack form and increase the damage die type by one step. This evolution can be selected more than once. Its effects do not stack. Each time an eidolon selects this evolution, it applies to a different natural attack.

The first time I read this I thought it was talking about one single attack, but it says form here. Does that mean if I have 4 tentacles, they all get the boost since it is one form, and I can take the evo again for other attack forms, or does it mean that I have to take it 4 times, one for each tentacle?

Looks like it applies to all attacks of that type. Here's the FAQ (http://paizo.com/paizo/faq/v5748nruor1fn#v5748eaic9qjz) on the eidolon's reach evolution, which basically uses the same logic that would justify Improved Damage applying to all attacks to justify why reach wouldn't.

^What he said.

Do note that you can only benefit from Improved Damage Evolution, OR Improved Natural Attack Feat (which does the same thing), but not both.
