I'm using the Templates found on PFSRD (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/templates) that make just about any creature into a Construct and I'm unsure where other templates fit into that process. The Constructs will be made using the Pricing a New Construct info under Building and Modifying Constructs (http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultimateMagic/magic/buildingAndModifyingConstructs.html) as well.

The Advanced Template and other Simple Templates for example. Would by necessity have to apply those at the beginning of the process?

I guess what I'm asking is would inherited/acquired templates have to be applied before/after a given creature was recreated in a construct form?

Additionally, could one build a Construct priced by it's CR that has had one of the Simple Class Templates (http://www.d20pfsrd.com/bestiary/monster-listings/templates/simple-class-templates) applied?

The way I'm thinking right now I could apply a template to a creature, make a clockwork version of that templated creature, or build a templated clockwork creature that is based on a templated creature.
Possibly all with the same template. Which seems wrong somehow.

I'm pretty sure the answer has something to do with acquired vs inherited templates but I always get those mixed up when making construct versions of things. And PF is a lot less careful about labeling which is which so its even more confusing.

The head scratching confusion continues.
