Partial immunity to piercing? Twig blights DR

Hi all

The Twig Blight has, in its special qualities "Partial Immunity to Piercing Weapons". This is not a plant feature, its a Twig Blight feature. And yet, it gives no DR value. What does it mean then?

Twig Blight is from MM2 - what you have to remember about MM2 is that it's actually 3.0, and you need to get the 3.5 update for it (http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/dnd/20030718a) in order for the creatures inside to make sense. (Well, slightly more sense anyway.)

According to the update document, Twig Blights have DR 5/bludgeoning or slashing. Piercing does not overcome their DR, hence "partial immunity."

At least it's not as messy as some 3.0 monster that had DR "Half damage from piercing weapons". Some of these never got updated, either (Volodni, Bone Creature, I'm looking at you!).
