Do you guys think that Teevo saying "TEEVO!", "TEEVO?", and "TEEVO!" again is a reference to South Park's Timmy? (TIMMAH!)

I think it's a Pokemon reference. "Pika!"

Pretty darn sure it's form Pokemon. All the pokemon only say their own names.

Well Timmy also only says his name.
(Well, asides from the occasional "Livin' a lie" :P)

There's enough Pokemon reference as it is... I loved the "Chu"... how long was that after the "Pika"?

I'd agree with Pokemon before Southpark.

I think the South Park "Timmy" is a reference to Pokémon in itself.

This is what Teevo told me last week. I censored parts of it for fear of copyright infringement:

Teevo:
"Ah, but don't tell anyone I can talk. You see, if you see me in the world of Pocket *********, which is now ten years old, I have a Pika***-like role. So I must keep the correct image."

Me:
"You are just one of the random characters, and you are acting like a mascot character? Don't tell me you think you have the potential of bringing in billions of economic wealth?"

Teevo:
"What? How dare you call me a random character? In a certain magazine, I was ranked twelfth in a popularity contest. Also, in an autograph session in Nagoya, I was the last one to get the final request! Hey, listen to me! Even the elderly are all over me! (Now that I think about, Xykon is pretty old)"

I'm just kidding. That was actually from Hayate, the combat butler.

There was a "Pika"? Not that I remeber it.

But now that you mention it, yes, I too would believe that this is pokemon reference rather than South park one. Haven't thought of that before actualy.
