Ever had to do a double take at a rulebook sentence you didn't get the first time?
My personal favorite was when I learned that Monks could "spend 1 ki point to take the Doge action as a bonus action on your turn."

I've done a more delayed failure at the fact that I thought you chose one of the save proficiencies rather than always have both for too long.

When reading her bard's spell list, my daughter misread "Vicious Mockery" as "Vicious Monkey".
Ever since then we've called it that and joked that the bard literally throws a small yet irate monkey at their opponent's face when casting it.

Anyone else getting flashbacks to that OOTS comic featuring the Celestial Tree Sloth?
