Anybody ever see the below picture of a baby chimera?

Well, it inspired ne.
So my party attacks a chimera, just outside its cave in a nearby mountain, because it had been stealing cattle.
So after they kill it, they search its lair, and here a tiny, child-like voice going, "Mommy? Mommy?"
They track it to a secluded area in the cave filled with warm fur and grass and find a baby chimera looking in vain for its now-deceased mother. Then, one of my players just looks at me in shock and says, "You did NOT just Bambi a Chimera."
(I thought it was funny)
