Word of recall, extraplanar?

Is Word of recall usable to reach a location on another plane of existence? I can't find anything online.
In 3.5, the destination had to be on the same plane.

5e version doesn't mention anything about planes at all.

Text doesn't specify, I would assume there are no planar restrictions.

Is there any reason why there should be a restriction, apart from historic precedent?

I'd allow it. After all, WoR has trouble keeping up with Teleport anyway, this isn't going to break it.
