She chuckles.

Mere poison won't kill me, mister. I'm not joining though. Would be too restrictive.

Shera smiles, keeping her tell tale fangs hidden.

Pleasure meeting you, hope I won't have to kill you when trying to kill me.

Karsen watches and hmms, smiling.

[Vhaidara]

The poison wouldn't be meant to kill you. Just to disable you.

Being highly observant, he notices the fangs.

I know a good dentist that could fix those fangs. It so happens that he's also a cleric. I'll send him by.

[Castaras]

Shera smirks.

I'm sure.

She sits back down at another table, fading into dead time.

[Vhaidara]

Artemis leaves.

[Exachix]

Karsen listens and hmms, thinking to himself whilst keeping alert... thinking.

Duskblossom looks at her sister

Even more assassins, brilliant.

I don't envy anyone who tries to get all the ones round here into a guild by force. I know we'd tell him where to go, and we're hardly active.

Well, it's not as if we have that much disorganised crime round here. Most of the organised stuff seems to be based on world domination

Karsen nodds.

"The Problem isn't the fact it's crime. The Problem lies in the concept. I mus agree that thievery and assassination is effective... but It's not the best thing in the world... sometimes there are better ways at your disposal."

Shera comes back out of dead time and sips her drink, watching Karsen.

On the other hand, sometimes surgical removal of a problem is the best way.

Not that the politics or ethics were ever really a concern in the old days.

A raven-like bird lands in the rafters. How it came in isn't clear, but it did, and now it sits there and looks around the tavern.

Karsen nodds.

" 'Amputation' is always the right word."

He smiles to Shera as he sips his drink.

[AmberVael]

Aesa appears in the tavern in a small swirl of flowers. She looks very happy and relaxed as she sits at the bar.

[Draken]

#1500 nods and asks for another drink.

Another Dragon Liver Buster, pure this time. Also a full glass of Oil and a Wizard's Blizzard.

Shera's eyes narrow slightly.

Your riddle, Karsen. Was it meant to lead right back to you?

Karsen smiles to Aesa, then looks at Shera.

"It was meant to bring you back, because you didn't know who I was... I didn't anticipate you leaving the tavern."

[Timberwolf]

The 2 Alexanders sit back to watch Shera

[Castaras]

Hmph. It was annoying, really.

She finishes off her drink.

[AmberVael]

Aesa smiles back at Karsen and looks over the menu, intending to try something that isn't one of her death inducing concoctions.
Or at least, they should cause death. She's just too resilient.

[Exachix]

Karsen hmms and sips his drink.

"No... and It wasn't very good really. Sorry."

[Deadly]

The raven just keep watching the people in the tavern.

[Castaras]

Yeah.

Shera sighs, taking down her hood.

I guess there's no point in hiding it then, seeing as that person announced it to everyone.

[AmberVael]

Aesa finally decides on a white funky llama and hums softly to herself as she fills up a glass.

[Timberwolf]

Duskblossom heads off into the back while Snowraven looks up at the raven.

She's surprised to see one there, but what the hell, this is the town.

[Exachix]

Karsen nodds.

"But does it matter? Most of the time people are very very opposed to were-foxes and Kitsune, and werewolves too.. But should it matter?"

[Castaras]

Shera smirks.

All the other towns I've been to are suspicious of vampires. Think I'll suck the whole town dry.

[Deadly]

The raven looks at Duskblossom as she leaves, then turns it's attention back to the room in general.

[Exachix]

Karsen smiles.

"Vampires are rare... but there are other drainers."

[AmberVael]

Aesa sips her wine, just smiling at life in general.
Honestly, it is probably kinda creepy. Aesa shouldn't be this happy.

[Castaras]

Other drainers? A bit better then.

Shera smiles slightly.

So why the riddle?

[Timberwolf]

Snowraven's main attention is on the vampire, but she's keeping half an eye on the raven, it's prescence feels odd.

[Castaras]

Shera turns to Snowraven.

What?

[Timberwolf]

Just vaguely listening, paying attention, you know, that kind of thing. Why ? Is there a problem ?

[Deadly]

The raven flies down and lands on a chair near the fireplace.

[Nightwing]

*A man with a tommy, and 10 men with pistols walk in*

"I'm holding up this joint! Give me all your money!"

[Warpfire]

Warpfire appears, and holds up his hands in mock surrender. "Oh, no, they've got guns. Might as well give up now, everybody." The wizard smirks.

[Timberwolf]

A voice comes from behind the man with the tommy gun

Hello, what's your name ?

Duskblossom is standing there with a vacant look on her face.

[Castaras]

Just wondering why you kept staring.

Shera puts down her empty glass.

[AmberVael]

I'm threatening your life. Give me all your money.
Aesa points a a gloved hand at the tommy wielding man.

[Timberwolf]

Who wants to know ?

[Castaras]

Doesn't matter really, does it?

Shera smiles, and turns to watch the tommy wielding man.

[Timberwolf]

Actually, I was hoping you'd inadvertently confirm something for me. Are you here... with anyone ?

[Nightwing]

"I'm Harry the string! biggest crime boss around! Give me the money or I blow your head off!"

[Castaras]

No. Why?

Shera smirks at Harry's comment, trying not to laugh.

[Timberwolf]

Duskblossom's eyes clear.

Hello Harry the string. Have you seen my camel ?


Because we're waiting for a vampire to come and make some trouble for us, he usually has 4 - 5 vampire minions with him and for all I know, you could be one of them. So I was hoping to check.

[AmberVael]

Or I could, you know, punch you in the face repeatedly and not give you all my money.
Aesa gives him a patient smile.
Let me just give you a little tip. Probably any one person in here could take you all out without much trouble, which is why we're being so apathetic. So I advise that you just turn around and go back to your turf.

*33 bullets fire at Aesa*

[Castaras]

A throwing knife appears in Shera's hand. She flips it to herself, watching Aesa and Harry.

[AmberVael]

33 bullets made of metal fly through Aesa, who always has an ironguard spell up.
Look, I just made this outfit. I don't want to mess it up, so I'll give you all one chance before I hit you so hard your face caves in.

[Timberwolf]

((Bye bye...))

Duskblossom considers punching Harry but holds it for a moment

Snowraven's hand disappears under the table.

[Nightwing]

"Did you here that boys she id going to punch us! I'm so afraid! what ever shall we do?"


*They all laugh*

[Castaras]

Shera carries on flipping her throwing knife to herself, watching the fight, slightly amused.

Are most bar brawls like this?

[Exachix]

Other drainers? A bit better then.

Shera smiles slightly.

So why the riddle?
"Because not all is safe here... and It was sort of fun."

Nah, they're all more entertaining. And that idiot just insulted my crazy ass monk sister. This could go very badly because she could do anything

Duskblossom stands there, the vacant expression returned to her face. Harry may feel his trouser leg getting a bit wet though.

[AmberVael]

Aesa stands up, and a black gauntlet made of stone covers her hand suddenly.
Okay then.
She lunges across the room with impossible speed, striking at the man's face so hard that he shouldn't have a face after she is done. And his neck will be snapped.

[Deadly]

The raven turns around and watches with interrest

[Castaras]

Sounds like fun.

Shera turns back to Karsen.

Hmm.

[Exachix]

Karsen watches and hmms.

"Hmm?"

[Castaras]

Nothing, just thinking.

She turns back to the fight.

[Nightwing]

*He happens to have bent down from the laughter, but the attack hits a thug and kills him. Harry and the rest of the thugs run out the door*

[Timberwolf]

Oh, that was good.

[Exachix]

Karsen hmms.

"Maybe."

He writes on some parchment and teleports it... and some other stuff... away.

[Warpfire]

Warpfire sighs regretfully. "And I didn't even get to set any of them on fire..."

[AmberVael]

Aesa cracks her knuckles and takes off her gauntlets as she watches them run off.
Hmph.

[Castaras]

Shera sighs, her throwing knife fading away.

Pity. Might have been fun to watch one of them writhe in pain.

[Nightwing]

* A random thug comes back in*

"I will kill her for what she did to Jerry!"

[Timberwolf]

Goodluck with that.

Duskblossom looks at him.

Have you seen my camel ?

[AmberVael]

Aesa just blinks at the random thug, then shakes her head before looking over at Warpfire.
This one's all yours.

[Exachix]

Karsen sighs and looks around, before hmming and sipping his drink.

"Oh goodie."

He shifts to fox form, goes over and shifts to elf form, before slapping a back on the thug.

"Don't worry."

He begins to drain his emotions... so he's no longer worried about anything... or happy... or things.

[Deadly]

The raven leaves the tavern

[Castaras]

Shera watches Karsen and the thug, smiling.

[Rebonack]

And then, in his usual peculiar sort of way, Maph'tey steps into the tavern.

Not in through the door, but rather out of no-where. Quite literally. No-where was his precise location before arriving at Trog's.

"Good afternoon everyone. Aesa. Crazy orange wizard."

[AmberVael]

Aesa drops her gloves on the counter, then suddenly looks up and vanishes.

Kemros Shudders as he watches the thug be drained of all emotions, remembering what its like.

[Warpfire]

Warpfire shakes his fist at Maph'tey. "I'm not crazy, I'm humorously eccentric!" He snaps his fingers, attempting to set the random thug on fire.

[Exachix]

When done he shifts to fox form, runs up to where he was before, shifts to hybrid and sips his drink.

[Castaras]

Shera hmms, twirling her dagger in her hand.

[Nightwing]

*The random thug lights on fire*

[Exachix]

Karsen pays no more attention to him. He's thinking!

[Tolkien_Freak]

Eidaro snaps out of dead time, finishes his muffin, and leaves.

[Rebonack]

The Traveler blinks, wondering why Aesa suddenly vacated the room in such a hurry. Hopefully nothings wrong.

And then he smells the unmistakable scent of burning NPC flesh.

He sighs, remembering his police duty while at the same time being ignorant of the current occupation of the station.

"Why are you setting people on fire?"

[Gnrlshrimp]

The soul trapped within the gloves left by Aesa slowly destroys the force keeping it bound to the gloves. Eventually it creates a small gap, just large enough for it to break free. It escapes, rushing back to its host body...To those who can't sense that kind of thing it would seem like nothing has happened.

[Castaras]

Shera carries on playing with her dagger, thinking.

[Exachix]

Oh dear.

This much thinking is very bad for the tavern, you know that don't you?

[Castaras]

That much thinking is probably bad for Shera, since she is currently thinking about how quiet it has suddenly got. She isn't saying anything though.

[Exachix]

That's a good idea.

Karsen sips his drink.

"Will you stop narrating?"

No.

[McBish]

Eric comes inside and goes and sits at the bar.

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey sighs and begins to work on the last gem he had been fiddling with.

Looks like a rather sizable sapphire.

[AmberVael]

Aesa's gloves remain on the bartop.

[Castaras]

Shera, being the nosy type, gets up, and goes over to the glove, picking it up.

[Exachix]

Karsen watches.

He's nosy too... but cautious.

"I said... shut up."

[Rebonack]

"I don't know how long you've been in Town," Maph'tey comments. "But as a general rule of thumb it's a bad idea to mess with Aesa's stuff."

Just in case what he's referring to isn't obvious he points at the gloves.

[Warpfire]

Warpfire belatedly replies, "Uh...he was threatening Aesa."

[AmberVael]

The glove appears to made of some black stone, has a ruby set in the palm, and the fingers are long, sharp, and pointed.

[Castaras]

Why would that be?

Shera studies it, and does what is probably a bad idea, and puts on the glove, seeing what happens.

[Rebonack]

The Traveler sighs.

"Well... there's no law against self-defense. Or defending others. By try to ease off of the lethal force when no one is actually in any danger."

Maph'tey then turns to the current wielder of the glove.

"Because she turns people into newts, among other things."

[AmberVael]

The glove fits very nicely, but does nothing to her.

[Castaras]

Newts? Interesting.

Shera takes off the glove again, putting it away in one of her bags of holding.

Looks to be pretty valuable. Shouldn't have left it lying around.

She goes and sits back down at one of the tables.

[Exachix]

Karsen hmms.

"Ok... this may get very bad very quickly you know that?"

[Rebonack]

The Traveler quirks an eyebrow out the outright admission of theft.

"You know that stealing the property of others is a crime right?"

He doesn't move from his current location, however.

[Warpfire]

"My regrets. I'll make sure to do so in the future," Warpfire lies, with a broad smile.

[Castaras]

I'm not. I'm keeping it safe for her until she returns.

Shera smiles, checking over her dagger.

Where's her home?

[Exachix]

Karsen hmms.

"I can't remember off the top of my head... are you desperate to find it?"

[Deadly]

A man, looking rather plain, enters the tavern. He walks up to the bar, sits down and orders a glass of Chimera Cabernet from Cosmo.

[Castaras]

Not really, seeing what she can do.

Shera puts her dagger away.

Although she probably could do something bad to me.

[Exachix]

Karsen hmms.

"Alot."

[Rebonack]

"There's a portal to the mist spire right here near Trog's. Pretty hard to miss it," the Traveler replies as he rises to his feet. "How about we go return it right now?"

[Castaras]

Shera seems to struggle with herself for a moment, before slowly shrugging.

Might as well. Pretty little thing though.

[Exachix]

Karsen hmms.

"Mind If I come with you?"

[Rebonack]

"I don't see why not," Maph'tey replies before motioning to the door. "After you."

[Exachix]

Karsen stands, downs his drink, and shifts to fox form, smiling to them both and following Shera.

[Deadly]

The man sips his wine and looks around at the people in the tavern with slight interrest. Certainly has been a while since last I was here... he thinks

[Castaras]

Shera smiles and heads out of the tavern.

[Exachix]

Fox-Karsen follows.

[Deadly]

The man finishes his wine and leaves

[Draken]

A large winged golem soundly arrives at the Taverns door, entering and moving towards #1500. Them he handles him a heavy package.

With the regards of His Lord.

#1500 opens the package, containing a metalic disc, mumbles something and place the item on a luminous cavity that opens on his chest.

#1500: About time for an upgrade. Well, time to go and take a look at the Fourth Empire's dominion. Ha ha ha. (metalic laugther)

#1500 leaves the tavern with heavy steps, as if trying to be intimidating, a metalic sound comes from inside him, as if there where many things rearanging into his body.

[Uberblah]

Conrad and Akil come out of dead time and immediately order food and drink, pay and start devouring it.

[Gnrlshrimp]

Claudius steps in from the portal in the temple of Inari. He sits down at the bar and orders a DLB.

His two creations arrive shortly afterwards, they stand next to him and look around the tavern.

Claudius' shadow becomes ever so slightly thicker and darker.

[Dartonus]

Karasu leaves just before the table shera was at explodes.

[Chaotic Bob]

The second shadow teddy watches Claudius from the rafters, having apparently been charged with Edict's task since he is busy at the moment.

[Dartonus]

A tall man with long white hair enters. he spots eric and sits down at the table.
I do believe I know you.

[Gnrlshrimp]

Claudius' shadow becomes a short series of words for a very brief period of time, barely long enough for the shadow teddy to read it:

For now it is surveilance only.

before returning to normal. Claudius sips his DLB, completely unaware of what is going on behind him.

[Chaotic Bob]

The shadow teddy makes no motion of acknowledgement, merely continues to watch, unmoving and hidden in the shadows.

[Gnrlshrimp]

Claudius sighs as he slowly sips his DLB, still uninspired. "I used to think up dozens of inventions every day. And now I can't even think of one."

The two creations sigh, their master was still depressed. "Sir, don't worry. I'm sure you'll be fine soon."

[Uberblah]

Conrad and Akil finish eating and look around the tavern.

[Chaotic Bob]

The shadow teddy fails to move. At all.

[Gnrlshrimp]

Claudius finishes his DLB and orders a second one, still looking very depressed. "I don't think there's anything wrong with me, I just can't find any inspiration."

The two creations sighs and shake their heads, when their master was in this kind of mood it was pointless to argue.

Claudius' shadpw looks like it is laughing for a second, although it may just be a trick of the light.

[Uberblah]

Conrad and Akil are frozen by dead time.

[Chaotic Bob]

Nope. Still no movement from the creepy creature that only resembles a teddy bear to a person with extreme dementia.

[Gnrlshrimp]

Claudius finishes his second drink and pays. His shadow goes back to normal as he steps back through the portal to the temple of Inari.

Shortly afterwards Shadow Claudius steps out from a nearby shadow, his black, 2D head looking straight at the shadow teddy. "Next time we take him prisoner." he says before sinking back into the shadows.

[Chaotic Bob]

This time the shadow teddy reacts. It flits out of the rafters and crouches in the shadows near the mirror.

[Therarde]

Seeing as the thread he's currently in is moving at a rate of *no* miles an hour, Therarde appears at his usual spot at the bar.

[Warpfire]

Warpfire appears, though he can't be described as 'the orange-robed wizard'. Because he's wearing black robes, with a KNAVES emblem emblazoned on the front. Why he's impersonating a KNAVES officer is unclear.

He steps over to Therarde, and says in a sterotypically deep and menacing voice, "Did you remember to vote?"

[Chaotic Bob]

The still invisble and strobing Sern watches Warpfire with interest.

The shadow teddy watches the mirror to Inari's.

[Therarde]

Therarde looks into Warpfire's eyes. Deep...deep...

Eventually he falls over backwards.

[Warpfire]

Warpfire looks down at Therarde. After a good period of laughing, he grins and asks, "What's wrong?"

[Therarde]

Therarde gets back up on the stool, mumbling something about KNAVES and a shaved chicken.

[Warpfire]

"So...why'd you fall over?" Warpfire asks, his menacing tone gone.

[Therarde]

Therarde refuses to answer, staring intently on his drink, hoping the guy will go away.

[Warpfire]

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Warpfire asks, staunchly refusing to go away.

[Therarde]

Therarde sips his drink. KNAVES and I...don't get along that well.

[Chaotic Bob]

Pity that...the shadow teddy just got interested in Therarde. Perhaps it involves the faint scale brand that is on one of its wings.

[Warpfire]

"And that's why you fell over backwards?" Warpfire's robes suddenly turn orange again.

[Therarde]

That may have been the alcohol... He suddenly notices the robes turning from black to orange. That was incredibly cruel.

[Chaotic Bob]

The shadow teddy slowly stands, claws flexing. It remains in the shadows, however.

[Warpfire]

"And incredibly fun." Warpfire grins.

[Therarde]

Therarde fails to notice the shadow teddy.

[Chaotic Bob]

The shadow teddy clenches its clawed fists and darts into the rafters.

[Warpfire]

Warpfire walks through a randomly appearing portal.

The portal remains open.

[Therarde]

Therarde peers in, curiously, making sure not to let any part of him actually touch it.

[Warpfire]

Therarde isn't quite able to make out where the portal goes, though he can make out a vague outline. Maybe if he just got a bit closer...

[Therarde]

Therarde leans in a bit more, still trying to keep a decent distance between him and the portal.

[Warpfire]

There seems to be a tall objects, but Therarde still can't make out anything completely clear. However, if he just got only a little bit closer...

[Rebonack]

A mini-Maph'tey suddenly leaps across the room and attempts to grab the teddy in his mouth.

[Therarde]

Therarde, almost completely overtaken by curiosity, begins inching towards the portal.

[Lord Magtok]

A man warps into the tavern. He has a scar along one eye, and looks like he didn't shave this morning. He wears a red suit of armor resembling that of a shadowtrooper (http://images.wikia.com/starwars/images/thumb/9/90/Shadowtrooper.jpeg/180px-Shadowtrooper.jpeg), minus the helmet, and he wears a black cloak with a red "W" on it.

He takes a seat alone, and orders a Cormyrian Fireamber.

[Warpfire]

If he gets within a foot of the portal, Therarde will start to make out what seem to be some trees. He can't be sure, though. Closer still, and he should be able to tell what's going on in there.

[Therarde]

Therarde is almost in a trance at this point. Trees are good... He slowly begins to make his way even closer to the portal.

[Chaotic Bob]

The shadow teddy slides away from mini-Maph....that sounds neat...
Anywho, it slowly turns to him, raising up its clawed hands defensively.

[Lord Magtok]

The new guy with the red armor and black cape looks around the tavern in awe as he witnesses the madness of the Town for the first time.

[Rebonack]

The mini-Maph is now poised on the rafter, ready to attack.

"So I was looking over the recent events at Inari's temple," he growls in his adorable little voice. "And I saw a whole bunch of things like you attack Tabitha."

He takes one menacing, albeit cute, step toward the teddy.

"I don't like it when things threaten people that I care about."

[Warpfire]

Therarde finally is able to see that the portal leads to the woods outside town. If he can recognise those woods.

He isn't left much time to ponder why Warpfire was heading to the woods, because a vortex suddenly forms on the portal, sucking Therarde towards it.

((Feel free to have him resist the effect if you don't want Therarde becoming involved in Joseph's 'slay the vampire' plot. Because he most likely will if he goes through it.))

[McBish]

Eric gets up and heads out into the streets.

[Chaotic Bob]

The shadow teddy MK II ((Upgraded: Now even more resilient!)) shifts its wings, but fails to do more than that.

[Therarde]

((Nah, I'm cool with it.))

Therarde is sucked into the portal without much difficulty, not having any chance to react.

Maph'tey continues to stalk closer before finally halting. He crouches down low, waving his hind-quarters in the air for a moment before attempting to pounce on the thing.

"Rawr!"

[Warpfire]

((Nah, I'm cool with it.))

Therarde is sucked into the portal without much difficulty, not having any chance to react.

Yes...Edict believes that upgrading the shadow teddy was indeed necessary. He's designing it to take on Aesa and Sunn eventually....it just needs battle data))

The shadow teddy darts forward to meet mini-Maph, claws darting up to try and catch the cute critter. Due to the shadow teddy's unique make-up, this may or may not result in it being able to hit incorporeal creatures.

[Lord Magtok]

The new guy takes a sip from his wine, and sits by himself, waiting for someone.

After a while, a robot teleports next to him. It takes a seat next to him, and glares at the black-cloaked visitor.

You know what will happen if Magtok sees you here, meatbag. If I were you, I'd run back through the looking glass before it's too late.

The man chuckles, and smiles at the robot. Thanks for the warning, but I think I'll stay for a while. This place seems nicer than that other Town.

Fine, your funeral, meatbag.

The robot leaves, and the man resumes drinking his wine.

[Rebonack]

It should be pointed out that Maph'tey, mini or otherwise, isn't incorporeal because he exists partially on the ethereal plane. Rather, it's because his body is a good example of a substance that displays wave-particle dualism. In other words, the reason he will pass through objects is pretty much the same reason sunlight will pass through glass.

One claw passes harmlessly through mini-Maph. The other manages to find something solid and gouges it pretty will. Since it didn't bother to get out of the way it now has a house-cat sized ball of teeth and talons trying to rip it apart.

Well, not it per say. He's not looking to cause any physical damage.

Rather, he's attempting to rip the little bugger's time-line out.

[Chaotic Bob]

The shadow teddy proceeds to lash out wildly with its claws, trying to knock of mini-Maph before its time-line is thieved. Which doesn't quite happen yet, though it does poke out a bit.
This one's nasty. Try that new feature...
The shadow teddy quickly emits a split second wave of force from its body. It wouldn't be sufficient to do any damage, just maybe knock someone away.

[Rebonack]

The force energy gets sopped up by the silvery nimbus swirling around the mini-Maph busily obscuring his outline. You would think that sRizzen would have remembered that resistance from the fight at the End of the World.

Most of the claw strikes cause no actual physical harm, though a few do manage to scrape across something injurable.

Maph'tey growls and continues tugging and yanking at the little construct's? connection to the Continuum of the multi-verse.

He does so quite hard, probably hard enough to send the both of them tumbling off the rafter.

[Chaotic Bob]

You'd think that wouldn't you? But sRizzen's not thinking that hard at the moment, he's thinking about how high up the KNAVES keep is from the ground. It rather has his attention.

The teddy snarls and pushes forward in an effort to reduce the amount of time-line pulled out and it probably takes them off the rafters that much faster. And yes...we'll say that it is a semi-organic construct with sentience.

The pair begin to tumble through the air, snarling and gnashing at each other. It would probably be pretty amusing if anyone were in the tavern to watch it.

A cute little feline-reptilian-birdish thing and a deadly teddy bear locked in a fight to the death.

Mini-Maph grabs a hold on the time-line he's gotten out so far and chomps into it with his jagged maw. He then wrenches to the side violently, attempting to break off the teddy's existence from the present forward. Should all go well, or not well depending on your point of view, the teddy will simply cease to exist.

[Chaotic Bob]

In a last ditch effort to save itself, the teddy tries to do what you do with a crocodile, hold the thing's mouth shut and stop the head from moving too much.

[Rebonack]

Luck isn't on the teddy's side tonight since it manages to grab empty space next to mini-Maph's head that looks like part of his head. Part of the reason hitting him is so annoying isn't just the fact that most of him is a wave-form at any given moment, but also because it's hard to tell exactly where he is at any moment.

Maph'tey continues yanking, attempting to gnarf the delicious strand of time.

((I'm guessing sRizzen can make more of these things if he needs to, yes?))

((Yes...and he will. He'll even adjust it accordingly to this fight with mini-Maph. Most likely, it's timeline will be much harder to yank out next time. How does he do this? His little secret :smallwink: ))

The teddy screeches as the time-line is severed, causing its form to briefly contort like an image on a bad television. He should have vanished on the spot, but mini-Maph's crude breaking of the time-line only caused most of its future to be annihilated. It fades away a second later.

((A machine powered by handwavium? That's how the 'creations' seem to work.))

The mini-Maph'tey slurps down the time-line like temporal pasta. Emm... pasta.

He can't help but notice that the thing somehow reminds him of that obnoxious shadow critter that kept popping into the tavern every now and again.

The teeny gavakhole sighs and scampers up the wall like a chipmunk before making himself comfortable in the rafters.

[Chaotic Bob]

((Yeah...no. More like a...ah...grr...I can't think of the word!))

sRizzen fails to make an appearance, though he would rather like to.

However, a pixie does make an appearance. Floating into the tavern, humming gently to herself. Not the same pixie as the one in Iame's temple. This is just her sister.

Mini-Maph glances over the edge of the rafter at the lil' fey.

"Good evening!"

The pixie looks up at mini-Maph and waves.

She then gently bounces a money pouch in her hand, looking around the room.

"I don't think I've ever seen you in here before," continues the adorable little critter. Well, not little compared to the pixie. "I'm Maph'tey."

The pixie hides the money pouch inside an empty glass that someone carelessly left on a table. She then looks back up at mini-Maph.

Maph'tey zips down from the rafters on his teeny wings and lands at the table, glancing around the relatively empty tavern. Said wings make a whirring hum. Sort of like a certain sort of small nectar drinking birds.

"So... are you new in Town, or did I just miss you?"

I suppose I'm new, yes.
She looks towards the door and casually moves to put mini-Maph between her and it.

A woman promptly bursts through the door, looking rather flustered.

Maph'tey is about to make some more pleasant conversation when the disconcerted looking woman bursts in through the door.

He just sort of... cranes his neck around to glance at her.

[Chaotic Bob]

Lliria casually hides herself beneath the table.

The woman looks around frantically.
"Where'd that...thing go?! It took my money!"

A Sunn duplicate pops in quite noticeably. What with the massive flash of purple light, and all.

Warpfire777 kicks Rebonack in the teeth in an attempt to get him to go post respond in the Woods.

The fact that Rebonack isn't there doesn't seem to bother him much. Afterwards, he disappears. Or maybe he was never there at all.

Maph'tey continues to sit on the table, from the woman's view the only thing alive in the table other than the surly gnome behind the bar.

"Calm down miss," Maph'tey says in his adorable little voice. "Who took your money?"

Sunn recognizes the adorable little voice, and walks over. She doesn't say anything, though. She also orders a neat Scotch, which is promptly served.

"Some kinda....butterfly person!"
She still looks flustered and kinda confused at what she's suddenly talking to.

Lliria giggles from her hiding place.

[Rebonack]

Maph'tey glances over at a certain cup not too far away before buzzing over to it and thumping it over.

He points at the coins that, in all likelihood spill out.

"Are those the coins you're looking for?"

[Chaotic Bob]

"Yes!"
The woman quickly runs over to snatch the coins up.

Lliria peers out at her from beneath the table, grinning.

Sunn grins and orders another scotch, having just finished her first. Having fun, Maph'tey? It seems it.

[Rebonack]

"Not so much 'fun' as dealing with the requisite craziness that goes on here in Town," he lands on the floor, instantly returning to his humanish shape. "I should probably check in at the police station. I haven't been there in weeks..."

If you do, enjoy yourself. I'm going to stay here, good things happen to me when I'm drinking. Sunn smiles at him.

The woman hugs the coins to her chest, looking around suspiciously before quickly darting out of the tavern.

Ah...what a greedy hag.
Lliria rolls her eyes and flies out from under the table, eventually coming to a rest on its edge. She kicks her feet slightly and stares at Sunn.

Pleased to meet ya! Sunn flutters her wings, smiling happily.

Maph'tey decides to walk to the station for whatever odd reason.

He walks out of the tavern.

Lliria drops off the table, allowing herself to take flight again.

I'm Sunn. And yours? She smiles at the pixie.

She flits around a bit, but ultimately ends up going around Sunn.

Enjoying your stay? Can I buy you anything? She smiles, in an incredibly good mood. As I said, good things happen when I'm drinking.

It's been fairly decent so far and I suppose you could buy me a drink of some kind. I don't really care exactly, surprise me.
The pixie then begins to wonder how Sunn would react to a prank.

Sunn orders her a slurpee, and smiles. So, your idea of fun is stealing? I can think of worse.

Not stealing. Hiding. That woman was a greedy hag and I decided that she should work for her money. But apparently...Maph'tey, there we go, decided to help her out.
Lliria quite frankly has never heard of a slurpee before. Deprived, I know.

Shera walks in, and heads over to the bar. She orders a drink, looking round the room.

*he sticks a piece of paper of a napkin in the martini. He then lights the paper wit his cigarette. He throws the martini at the men and it explodes, killing 6 of them. He kicks his chair into two of them and shoots another two. Then he aims his gun at the man with the pistol, who immediately drops his gun and puts his hands in the up.*

Shera comes out of dead time, and turns to watch the action.

Shera shrugs, and a throwing knife appears in her hand. She twirls it in her hand, watching the fight.
