3.5 Core Only 5th Level Conjurer

Scribe Scroll, Spell Focus: Conjuration, Augment Summoning(human bonus), Knack for magic(savage tide), Alertness(familiar), Extend Spell, Spell Mastery

I wanted to change familiar, but I misread the information and now I am stuck with the raven, not exactly bad, but I wanted a psuedodragon, oh well. SO now I am at a loss for what to do with the rest of my levels and feats, since I don't really need to advance my familiar like I was planning.

Thaumaturgist. It's a summoning focused class. Now, I don't think you can yake it yet, but it depends.

Are you limited to Core only or can you branch out?

Improved Familiar. And... Not much else is great in Core. Empower Spell, Spell Focus(es), maybe Quicken at high levels.

Loremaster, Thaumaturgist, and Archmage in any combination you prefer.

Core has plenty of good feats for a caster, it's martials who end up starved.

Improved Initiative
Augment Summoning (which eats up a Spell Focus to get)
Improved Familiar
Quicken Spell
Empower Spell
Extend Spell (this is cheap on a metamagic rod, though)
Scribe Scroll
Craft Wondrous Item
Flyby Attack
Quicken Spell-Like Ability (possibly useful at very high levels along w/ whatever you chose as SLA via Archmage)

Those are just the standouts. There's others, like Spell Penetration (not many no-SR offensive options in core) and Silent Spell, that are also decent choices.
