Im not sure rich likes people using his art. Its alright is your copy his style, but directly cut-copy-paste'ing from the comic is the thing thats not allowed.

I need to be very careful with my intellectual property in order that I might be able to earn profit from my work.which in turn will allow me to create more of it. By the way, the same rule applies for your avatar and your signature Merlinius. You can't just change colors or cut some part of a strip.

But hey, I like the idea also. You should get Inkscape and try to redo it by yourself.
