THRALL OF SHUB-NIGGURATH

Just as the Masks of Nyarlathotep and Disciples of Yog-Sothoth swear themselves to their patron Old One in exchange for power, so too do the Thralls of Shub-Niggurath. Sworn to the Goat with 1000 Young, a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath is a druid of an alien order, sworn not to creatures natural to this world, but to the dimensions beyond counting and the dark mother of both natural orders.

BECOMING A THRALL OF SHUB-NIGGURATH
To become a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath requires the swearing of an oath to the dark mother, and the knowledge of the natural world to master the arts of magic taught. The hardest requirement is the performance of the Ritual of the Goat, a profane ritual to call Shub-Niggurath’s proxy the Dark Goat of the Woods and cavort with the entity summoned thus.
Prerequisites:
Skills: Knowledge (Nature) or Survival 8 ranks the other 4 ranks
Feats: Servant of the Old Ones, Unnatural Vitality
Base Fortitude: +2.
Special: Must find knowledge of the Ritual of the Goat and perform it. The exact nature of this perverse rite is left to the DM to decide or not describe, but it does involve the ritual sacrifice of a good aligned magical beast and the invoking of the Black Goat of the Woods.

Class Skills: The class skills for a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath (and their key ability scores) are Bluff (Cha), Concentration (Con), Craft (Int), Disguise (Cha), Handle Animal (Cha), Heal (Wis), Knowledge (dungeoneering) (Int), Knowledge (nature) (Int), Knowledge (religion) (Int), Knowledge (the planes) (Int), Listen (Wis), Profession (Wis), Ride (Dex), Spellcraft (Int), Spot (Wis), Survival (Wis), and Swim (Str).
Skill points per level: 4 + Int modifier.

Hit Dice: d8.

Corrupted Form (Ex): A Thrall of Shub-Niggurath’s form is corrupted by their servant to the dark mother. A Thrall takes on certain goat-like traits as they level until by 15th level they seem wholly hermaphroditic goat-hybrids.

Pseudonatural Wild Shape (Su): This ability functions as, and counts as, Wild shape, except any form assumed gains the pseudonatural template if applicable. They gain the Ex and Su abilities of the pseudonatural template even if you do not gain Ex or Su abilities with Wild Shape. You may assume a form with hit dice no greater than 5 plus your Thrall of Shub-Niggurath level or your Thrall of Shub-Niggurath level plus levels in other classes which grant Wild Shape whichever is higher.

Woodland Stride (Ex): As the druid ability of the same name.

Thousand Faces (Su): At 2nd level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath gains Thousand Faces as the druid ability of the same name.

Trackless Step (Ex): At 2nd level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath gains Trackless Step as the druid ability of the same name.

Corrupt Young (Su): Beginning at 3rd level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath gains the ability to perform a 6 hour ritual with a pregnant animal to cause its unborn young to gain the pseudonatural template.

Shifter’s Speech (Su): Beginning at 3rd level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath gains the ability to speak while in Wild Shape regardless of whether the assumed form could speak or not.

Aberration Wildshape: At 4th level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath gains Aberration Wildshape as a bonus feat.

Goat Hide (Ex): At 4th level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath’s transformation into a hybrid goat beast has progressed to the extent that their hide thickens increasing their natural armor bonus by +2.

Immunity to Poison (Ex): At 5th level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath gains immunity to poison.

Spawn Ekolid (Su): At 6th level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath learns a dread ritual to sacrifice a creature’s life to give birth to ekolids. This requires 1 hour, and the sacrifice of a living creature, and either expensive reagents costing 100 GP per ekolid spawned or the sacrifice of 20 XP per ekolid spawned. This creates up to 1 ekolid per 8 HD if the creature had 2 or less Int, 1 per 4 HD if the creature lacked class levels or had only commoner levels and lacks innate spellcasting (and had 3+ int), 1 per 2 HD if the creature had class levels and no spellcasting, or 1 per HD of creature with the ability to cast spells. You have no special control of these ekolids, but they do recognize you as a servant of the same master and default to indifferent or friendly.

Powerful Build (Ex): At 7th level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath’s transformation into a goat creature has progressed to the extent that they now possess powerful build.

Pseudonatural Wild Shape (Magical Beast): Beginning at 7th level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath can assume the form of a magical beast with their wild shape ability as if it were an animal.

Mother’s Tentacles (Ex): Beginning at 8th level when a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath assumes a wild shaped form they gain 2 tentacle attacks functioning as secondary natural weapons dealing 1d4 damage if medium (1d6 if large, 1d8 if huge, 1d3 if small, 1d2 if tiny).

Plague Carrier (Ex): A 9th level Thrall of Shub-Niggurath gains the ability to carry diseases while being completely unaffected by them. A Thrall of Shub-Niggurath no longer suffers any positive or negative effects of diseases, but may select one disease they carry each day when they retrieve spells and may inflict that disease with their natural weapons when wild shaped for 1 day.

Extraordinary Wild Shape (Su): At 10th level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath gains the Extraordinary abilities of any form they assume with Wild Shape.

Easy Wild Shape (Su): Beginning at 11th level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath may use (Pseudonatural) Wild Shape to assume the form of a medium, small, or tiny (pseudonatural) animal at-will.

Excessive Vitality (Ex): Beginning at 11th level the benefit of a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath’s Unnatural Vigor feat improves. You heal 1 hit point per 2 character levels every minute and 1 point of ability damage to each ability score every minute. You regrow limbs and organs over the course of 1d6 hours, and may instantly reattach them by holding them back into place, and naturally heal ability drain at a rate of 1 point per hour. If you have Fast Healing from any source it is increased by 5. Finally you automatically stabilize when dying.

Spawn Obyrith (Su): At 12th level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath may use Spawn Ekolid to create different Obyriths. This creates a draudnuMMV or a laghathti ( http://archive.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/we/20060620a&page=1) per 3 ekolids which would have been created and costs 500 GP or 100 XP per draudnu/laghathti, at 15th level you may also create a sibriex per 5 ekolids costing 1000 GP or 200 XP.

Ooze Wild Shape: Beginning at 13th level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath can assume the form of an ooze with their wild shape ability as if it were an animal.

Supernatural Wild Shape: Beginning at 14th level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath gains Su abilities when in Wild Shape. If Shapechange is banned or nerfed so as not to gain Su abilities, Wild Shape benefitting from this has its duration reduced to 1 minute per 3 levels.

Corrupt Bloodline (Su): Beginning at 15th level a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath can permanently alter a creature so as to cause its children to be born with the pseudonatural template. This ritual requires 8 hours of work with the target either helpless (such as asleep) or willing.

Create Ekolid Swarm: Beginning at 15th level when a Thrall of Shub-Niggurath uses Spawn Ekolid (as opposed to Spawn Obyrith) they create 5 times as many ekolids as usual.
