Say you have a land speed and swim speed.

Say you moved half your land speed, and dived in to the water.

Does that end your movement, or can you keep moving with Swim speed? What if you encounter land again?

You keep moving. What you can do in a move action is move 100% of your speed; that seems obvious enough. You just keep adding up the fractions even if you change movement modes. Say you've got 40' land speed and 30' swim speed. If you move 20' on land you've moved 50% of your move action. If you then go into water you can move the remaining 50% of your move action, which is 15' in that movement mode. Another example would be 15' on land (37½% of a move action), 15' to cross a stream (an additional 50% of the move action) and then a final 5' back on land (12½%).

That was the reasonable answer I was looking for. But do you know of RAW to back it up?
