The Eyrie III

[Hawkeye]

This is a three storey flat topped building between Trog's Tavern and the beach. The whole building is indestructible as the magical protections are very similar, if not the same, as the one's protecting Trog's. The building is also warded to prevent entry to anyone who are not allowed in by the owners, and it is immune to any types of scrying.

On the ground floor there is a quite large living room, which also acts as a dining room. There's several couches and chairs around the room, a table that looks like it can sit two people cosily and also more than ten people comfortably, and several other things dotted around the place including a quite impressive fire place. Attached to the living room is a quite simple and well organised kitchen that can prepare just about any type of food. All the standard utensils, pots/pans and things for cooking are in well organised spaces. There is a good supply of food stuff.

On the second floor there's a large master bedroom including a bed that can fit three people (or a person with wings quite comfortably), a desk and several drawers and a wardrobe for clothes. There's also a guest bedroom, much the same attired as the master bedroom except it's smaller and it only has a double bed, and seperate to both rooms there's a restroom.

On the third floor there are three doors, one leads to a room for Alena that can be soundproofed and is for her instuments and a space to practice in if she wants. Another leads to a room for Alex, inside of the room at the moment is pretty much nothing, excepting the fact that the magical protections are quite noticeable as magical sigils and runes are all over the walls and ceiling. It is similar to the summoning chamber in the temple of Inari. The third door leads up some stairs to the roof.

The roof is flat topped, perfect for flight. At one end there's a covered sheltered area with chairs and cushions in it overlooking the view to the beach and the sea.

[Hawkeye]

She smiles, kissing him on the cheek. But we'll get by. We always do.

"In one way or another." he then rolls his eyes "Ye Gods I sound like my father now."

[Wukei]

Mhina smiles. That is not a bad thing. She offers to let her brother hold the one month old Falon.

[Hawkeye]

Alex raises an eyebrow "You think so?" he then mumbles "...No good with kids..." but takes Fallon anyway.

[Lykan]

Lykan grins slightly upon seeing Alex holding Fallon.

[Wukei]

There are many who admire Father for his conviction. Mhina makes sure to watch Alex carefully as he handles Falon.

There is a loud pounding on the door.

[Hawkeye]

Alex looks to give Fallon back to someone so he can answer the door.

[Wukei]

Mhina takes Falon and holds her securily, watching the door with trepedation. She didn't trust anything that loud, usually.

[Hawkeye]

Alex calmly walks over to the door, knowing that anything nasty can't get in. He opens it "Yes?"

[Wukei]

A figure shadowed most of the way by the hood of it's snow white cloak speaks, it's fangs glistening in the light prominently as it does so. I am looking for Captain Wukei Shipmaster, the Gatecrasher?

[Lykan]

Lykan tries to catch a glimpse of who's at teh door.

[Hawkeye]

Alex shakes his head "No, never heard of her. Who are you?"

[Wukei]

The being smiles from under her hood. Alex Shipmaster, you lying fool. Do you really think someone who didn't know the Gatecrasher would say 'who are you' after stating that they clearly didn't know the person I was looking for?

You are nothing like the man whose powers you've stumbled upon. He would at least have known to keep his answers crisp and conscise if he were trying to pretend not to know someone.

[Lykan]

Lykan raises an eyebrow

... Fallon?

[Hawkeye]

"Are you trying to say something other than insulting me?" He prepares a psychic reserve in case things gets violent


This feat grants the taker a psionic power point reserve equal to the INT bonus for a psion of the same level and intelligence. The character does not gain any additional psionic abilities. So, for example, a 10th level wizard of INT 18 gets 20 points total. This feat does not stack with class abilities to retain power points. That is: a character with a psionic class cannot take this feat to gain extra points. A character with a psionic class must still take this feat in order to use their psionic power for magical enhancement.

[Wukei]

The 'stranger' peeks around Alex, looking at Lykan. What are you doing here? She smiles as she removes her hood, her black and silver hair bouncing into a full body as though nothing had touched it all day.

[Lykan]

Lykan's eyes light up, looking between Mhina and Fallon, and gets up and hops over to the door

Your motheer was here... When... How did you come back to life? I've been trying for the last few months and I couldn't bring you back!

[Hawkeye]

Alex narrows his eyes at Fallon "I've only met you once, and then you were very rude to me. I hope Mhina brings you up better this time."

[Wukei]

Falon sneers at Alex. Don't bet on it. And I'm still searching for Wukei. She doesn't try to step inside, feeling as though she's not welcome here. She looks to her father. My grandmother brought me back to life. She saw me as being useful on the trip. Goddess of death means she also can restore life.

[Hawkeye]

"Isn't there a rule about time travel saying"don't break the laws of causality"? I'm sure you just did there."

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles, hugging Fallon

Remind me to thank her later.

Lykan bites his lip

Just so you know, your brothe-... Siblings miss you.

[Hawkeye]

Alex narrows his eyes at Lykan having just been barged out the way.

[Wukei]

Hey, buddy, I didn't break any laws. Your mom did.

Besides, we're both planar travellers, so we made good travelling companions. Neither of us had to rely on the other for help to shift planes.

[Hawkeye]

"So how far in the future did you come from? I'll be sure to tell my old man when I next see him."

[Lykan]

Lykan looks at Alex

Err... Sorry.

[Wukei]

Falon raises her eyebrow. I'm not sure how that's relevant...

[Hawkeye]

"Well I can tell him if his marriage breaks up before his death or not."

[Wukei]

Sorry, I'm not allowed to speak of that. My brothers might like to talk about the future and may have come here on purpose, but I'm not as reckless as them.

I'm trying not to break any rules. Being that my first levels were of Paladin.

[Hawkeye]

"So what are you doing here exactly? You knew that you weren't in for a good reception."

[Wukei]

I'm looking for Wukei. She promised me something if I helped her learn how to shift planes without using powers.

[Hawkeye]

"This time Wukei or your time Wukei? I get quite confused when people mess up the timeline constantly."

[Wukei]

She grimaces. I'm telling you, it's not my fault. I bet you don't yell at Kyrian like this. Now, I need to see the Wukei of this time. The Wukei of my time isn't here.

[Hawkeye]

Alex rolls his eyes "I don't yell at Kyrian because he doesn't come out with this kind of garbage. So your telling me that you've come back in time to teach Wukei something, and that's not going to change the future?"

[Wukei]

Actually, I'm the same Falon you met before. I came back in time because of a screw up of my brother's magic.

I've taught Wukei Gatecrashing to be able to get home. Damn the consequences.

[Hawkeye]

"So you're saying that the Wukei from you're timeline told you to go back and teach the Wukei from our timeline something?"

[Wukei]

No! My brother meant to teleport me, screwed up, sent me back in time. Wukei agreed to send me back forward in time if I taught her how to cross the planes. Which only could be done by someone like her through gatecrashing. Now where is she?!

[Hawkeye]

"Ok, now I'm totally confused with what's been said about this plot line and I'm fed up talking about the possible may be break down in the causality lines. I could talk about it all night long but there's a very nice bed waiting for me upstairs and I'm climbing into it. Good night." he climbs upstairs and goes into the bedroom

[Wukei]

Fallon growls as he disappears. I wonder if he knows that I'm not bound by the paladin's code anymore...

[Lykan]

Lykan raises an eyebrow

What happened?

[Wukei]

She looks over at him. What do you mean? And can we leave? I don't really like being where I'm not wanted.

[Lykan]

Lykan looks to Mhina

Wanna go back to the tower?

[Wukei]

Mhina sighs, hating to choose sides in an argument. I really think I should stay here...I haven't seen Alex in forever.

[Lykan]

Lykan frowns, looking from his wife to his daughter

I'm going to stay with your mother, okay?

Your brothers are waiting at the tower.

He frowns

Sorry Lin.

[Wukei]

Falon scowls and turns, pulling her hood up as she leaves the property.

[Lykan]

Fallon...

Lykan rests his head in his hands

Damn. It.

[Wukei]

Mhina places a hand on his shoulder. She'll be fine.

Alena wakes up shortly after Alex gets in bed, she cuddles up to him and covers him with one wing before she goes back to sleep.

[Hawkeye]

Alex shifts uncomfortably in his sleep.

[wxdruid]

Alena snuggles up closer to him.

[Hawkeye]

Alex puts his arm over Alena and settles back down.

[wxdruid]

Alena smiles and feels a surge of love for him, she gently covers him, from head to foot, with one dark wing.

[Hawkeye]

Alex smiles and squeezes Alena gently with the arm around her.

[wxdruid]

Alena softly whispers, I love you.

[Hawkeye]

Alex, 90% asleep, whispers back "...love you too..."

[wxdruid]

She responds by kissing him.

[Hawkeye]

Alex wakes up fully and hugs Alena and kisses her back.

[wxdruid]

Alena smiles at him, Heyla Sweetheart, have a rough night after I went to bed?

[Hawkeye]

"Yeah, shocking dysfunctional time travelling relatives..."

[wxdruid]

Alena quirks an eyebrow up and looks at him, "Time traveling relatives?"

[Hawkeye]

"Don't worry about it, it's too long to explain and not worth it."

[wxdruid]

Alena shrugs, Okay, I won't ask, she leans forwards and kisses him again.

[Hawkeye]

Alex puts both his arms around Alena and squeezes her "Now, what do you fancy doing today?"

[wxdruid]

Alena grins, Oh, I think it would be fun to cook up a few things and have a picnic? Yes, that sounds like fun. Or we could stop by Trog's or the SMBR and pick up more edible items than my cooking.

[Hawkeye]

"Oh...your cooking is edible enough for me..."

[wxdruid]

Alena's grin widens and she leans forward to kiss him again, Thank you Sweetheart, that means a lot to me. I'll just pop downstairs and start cooking... She starts backing off the bed, trailing her feathers across him.

[Hawkeye]

Alex shivers as the feathers pass over him. He reaches up with his hand and lets the feathers pass over his hand as well.

Alena smiles as she ruffles her feathers back into place, I'll be downstairs in the kitchen, and she gets dressed.

[Hawkeye]

Alex smiles up at the ceiling and stretches.

[wxdruid]

Alena goes downstairs into the kitchen and starts looking through the cupboards and her cookbooks for good picnic foods. She decides on bamhacon sandwiches, cornbread and the remainder of the brownies. She starts gathering all of the ingredients together.

[Hawkeye]

Alex rolls off the bed and gets dressed. He sneaks downstairs trying to remain as silently as possible.

[wxdruid]

Alena comes out of the kitchen at that moment and says, Oh, there you are sweetheart, would you please come and light the stove for me? It's so much easier when you do it.

[Hawkeye]

Alex smiles and nods "Of course Angel." he goes into the kitchen and lights the stove "There you are."

[wxdruid]

Alena gives him a kiss and starts the bamhacon cooking. She starts mixing the stuff for cornbread as the oven heats up.

[Hawkeye]

Alex goes behind her and puts both his arms around her waist.

[wxdruid]

As he goes behind her, she makes a nice little spot for him to stand and wraps her wings around him. She finishes and pours the batter into a pan and pops it in the oven to cook. She turns over the bamhacon.

[Hawkeye]

He squeezes her and puts his chin on her shoulder.

[wxdruid]

Alena rubs her cheek against his, How is your sister and her..well is he her husband or ... She blushes, embarrased that she doesn't know the right word.

[Hawkeye]

Alex smiles "They're both fine."

[wxdruid]

Alena lowers her voice, I saw Lykan with a small bundle in his arms...

She takes out the cornbread and lets it cool.

[Hawkeye]

Alex turns slightly red "Oh, I forgot there's more than two now...that was, well, their daughter...or my niece."

[wxdruid]

Alena keeps Alex within the circle of her wings, Yes, that makes sense. Is your niece cute? all babies are cute.

[Hawkeye]

Alex bites his lip "Well...she's...unique."

[wxdruid]

"Unique? in what way?" Alena flips the bamhacon, takes a plate out, puts some towels on it and then flops the bamhacon on it to drain. "What else would you like in your sandwich?"

[Hawkeye]

Alex chuckles nervously "Well you'll have to see her for yourself"

[wxdruid]

"Oh" Alena doesn't know quite what else to say to that statement and wonders instead what her children, if she had any, would look like.

She gets out the rest of the sandwich stuff and starts making them.

[Hawkeye]

Alex thinks for a moment "Mhin still might be here thinking about it."

[wxdruid]

Well, I'll make a few extra sandwiches in case they want one.

[Hawkeye]

Alex smiles in the cloud of feathers and he leans against Alena.

[wxdruid]

Alena smiles and holds him up, Sweetheart, I love you. She starts cutting up the cornbread and brownies.

[Hawkeye]

"Love you too Angel." He starts stroking her feathers gently.

[wxdruid]

Alena distracts him by holding up a crumbly piece of cornbread, Here, try this, tell me how it tastes.

[Wukei]

There's a knock on the door.

Mhina calls from the living room, Alex, you want me to get that?

[Hawkeye]

Alex chuckles "Your feathers are in the way" he answers Mhina "Yeah, thanks Mhin."

[wxdruid]

Alena moves one wing to the side, just enough so he can reach out and get the cornbread.

[Wukei]

Mhina shifts her baby to one arm and opens the door slightly. Seeing who it is she opens the door wide, smiling. Hi mom. She looks around Wukei and frowns slightly. Where's dad?

Wukei raises an eyebrow, He hasn't returned?

[Hawkeye]

Alex moves out from behind Alena's wings, taking the piece of cornbread as he goes "No, he hasn't."

[Wukei]

Wukei grimaces, worriedly. No word from him at all? She tenses. Bane had promised to retrieve Hawkeye. I think we need to check around town...

[Hawkeye]

Alex bites his lip "You think something's happened to him?"

[wxdruid]

Alena turns and offers bambacon sandwiches and cornbread to whoever wants it.

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs. I should have mentioned it...but Bane threatened to kidnap him.

Mhina gasps, covering her mouth with her free hand.

[Hawkeye]

Alex bites his lip again "That's not good."

[Wukei]

I didn't think he'd go through with it. Not after the body he had with him...

Crap...if he's got Hawkeye, he's got my soul.

[Hawkeye]

"We don't know that yet mom...and he's a lot tougher than you give him credit for."

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs. He's strong, and I'd believe in normal circumstances that he'd win. But he's up against three gods, minimum.

[Hawkeye]

"Look, we don't know if he's been caught, hell we don't know if Bane's is even in the area looking for him. You're convinced he has been."

[Wukei]

Well what else am I supposed to believe? He usually finds somewhere to rest...

[Hawkeye]

"Does he ever worry when your gone for a day? No, because he knows that you can look after yourself most of the time. Your acting like he's in serious danger if goes out someones sight for a day."

[Wukei]

Wukei looks up at him with worry. I trust Hawkeye. I don't trust my own actions. Those I've already done could have severe reprocussions against him.

[Hawkeye]

"So what do you suggest we do? Hang on, how did you lose him? You went out together last time you were in here."

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs, looking down. I asked to be able to go off on my own a while. I had to think about some things.

[Hawkeye]

Alex snorts "That's probably the reason why he's gone missing. Don't you think he's got lots of things to think about now?"

[Wukei]

Wukei sighs, leaning heavily against the wall. Yea...but he doesn't know what I've gotten him into...what if he gets hurt?

[Hawkeye]

Alex rolls his eyes "He knows Bane's after him, he got caught in the first place right? Before you decided to wander back into his life without warning."

[Wukei]

Wukei aims to backhand him. How dare you?! I felt bad enough about having to leave for so long. I can't change the past.

[Hawkeye]

Alex moves up his hand to parry, and hopefully catch, Wukei's attack "No, how dare you for constantly doing this to him. Make up your fudging mind about what you want, you don't give a damn about what he wants."

[Wukei]

Wukei attempts to pull away from him, but her strength isn't anywhere near what it used to be. I can't help it! I love him to death...but I get sick from staying in one place too long. I would do anything to make him happy...but it's so hard... She gives up on trying to break away, seeming to give up everything else at the same time.

[Hawkeye]

"Have you tried asking him when you want to move on? He's moved around from place to place, from plane to plane before he came to this town. And you say you love him, but recently you've virtually shun contact with him." he throws his arms up in the air "Ye Gods someone should bang both you're heads together, might make you see some sense."

[Wukei]

Wukei looks away, sinking to the ground. I'm not the person he married...

[Hawkeye]

Alex almost growls "So what? Are you going to give up now? If you're going to have that defeatist attitude get the hell out of town before you hurt him even more."

[Wukei]

Wukei stands. I suppose I should... She moves slowly toward the door.

Mhina bites her lip and looks up at her brother with an expression clearly asking 'what are you doing?'

[Hawkeye]

Alex's voice and look is almost the same as when he was Loki all that time ago. He sneers "I always thought you had no backbone, you've proved that tonight."

[Wukei]

You're right, Alex...after all...I don't even have the support of my own family. Wukei gives him one last glance before stepping out of the door.

Alex...what's gotten into you?

[Hawkeye]

"I'm saying what someone, anyone, was supposed to say to her a fudging long time ago. If she really cared about him she should have gone to him by now, she's got the ability to do that. But no, she's wallowing in her own self depression."

[Wukei]

Well, you and I know she can contact him...but we all know she's too short sighted to do that! What if she tries something drastic to find him? She really is worried that something she's done has affected him.

[Hawkeye]

Alex narrows his eyes "She did it in the past, why not now? She fudging doesn't care about him and I don't want to see him hurt time after time when she keeps rebounding back here."

[Wukei]

Mhina sighs. I don't want to get into a huge argument. I know Mom can be useless and never there for those she supposedly cares about. She was never there for us. But I just don't think she's doing this on purpose.

[Hawkeye]

"We had each other, that was all the support I needed. She needs to get her head out of the sand and see the big picture."

((Yes, I'm sorry for the clichés))

[wxdruid]

Alena walks back into the kitchen and prepares a picnic basket (and yes she knows they won't be going anytime soon, the picnic basket will preserve the food until they do go and it'll be just as tasty). She takes a cookbook into the dining room area and sits down at the table to read through it while she waits for Alex.

[Wukei]

Mhina sighs, looking away from her brother. Everything'll work out...it has to.

Falon, sensing that the tension has gone from bad to worse wraps her tail around her mom's arm and giggles softly. Mhina smiles at her and hugs her.

[Hawkeye]

Alex snorts "Everyone keeps on saying that Mhin, no one is willing to face the possibility that it won't."

[Wukei]

Mhina glares at her brother, I believe, dammit! That's enough.

[Hawkeye]

Alex shakes his head "I hope it all works out, but it seems I'm the only person that thinks it could crash and burn completely"

[Wukei]

Well that's because your a pessimist. You always have been. It seems she can't even look at her brother, anymore. She wipes away a tear from her eye before turning her attention to Falon.

[wxdruid]

Alena looks up from her book and watches them for a moment. She gets up and goes over to stand behind Alex, ruffling her wings as she walks.

[Hawkeye]

Alex turns to Alena, warps his arms around her waist and leans his head on her.

[wxdruid]

Alena wraps her arms around him, always loving him.

[Hawkeye]

Alex sighs, he says quietly to Alena "You fancy going for that picnic now?"

[wxdruid]

Yes sweetheart, I'd love to, the picnic basket is in the kitchen.

[Hawkeye]

Alex nods and kisses her on the cheek "Ok."

[wxdruid]

Alena steps back from him and walks into the kitchen. She retrieves the basket and walks back out to him, Ready.

[Hawkeye]

"Right, flight or walk?" at that point there is a few loud knocks at the door. Or to be exact it sounds like a few kicks.

[wxdruid]

Well, it's unwieldy to fly with you and a large picnic basket and I think we'll have to answer the door first... She walks over and opens it. Hello?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye's outside the door carrying Wukei "Erm...do you still have a spare bed?"

[wxdruid]

Alena puts the basket out of the way next to the door, Of course, follow me. She walks upstairs and opens the door to the spare room.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye faintly smiles and follows Alena upstairs carrying Wukei, who is now asleep "Thank you Alena."

Alex takes a step back as they go in and bites his lip.

[wxdruid]

Alena looks at them in concern, Do either of you need any healing? There's food and drinks in the kitchen of course.

[Hawkeye]

"We're both fine..." he looks down at Wukei "Just very tired."

[wxdruid]

Alena smiles, Alex and I were just about to go out. You're more than welcome to stay here as long as you like.

[Hawkeye]

"Thanks, I appreciate it." he carries Wukei into the spare room "Have a nice time while you're out and I guess I'll see you later."

[wxdruid]

Thank you, Alena backs out of the room and walks over to Alex. She kisses his cheek.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye kicks the door shut. He puts Wukei on the bed and climbs on besides her. He pulls a blanket to cover them both and slowly drops to sleep.

Alex smiles faintly at Alena "Unexpected surprise."

[wxdruid]

Alena raises an eyebrow at his expression and tone before she takes his hand and leads him back down to the living room. Once there, You didn't expect them to come back?

[Hawkeye]

"Not together this quickly..." he smiles "But I'm happy I'm wrong."

[wxdruid]

Alena smiles and hugs him, Ready now? Or do you not want to leave them here alone? I will understand if you don't want to go right now.

[Hawkeye]

"I think they'll be fine. Where do you want to go?"

[wxdruid]

Well, since the picnic was my idea, I thought I'd let you pick the destination. She walks over to the door and picks up the picnic basket again, looking at the door suspiciously.

[Hawkeye]

Alex chuckles "You think someones gonna come just because you've picked up the basket? Better get out while we can." Alex pauses "As for a destination...how about by that little stream in the countryside where we went to before?"

[wxdruid]

Yes, I do think that someone will try and interupt again, so let's leave, quickly before they can. I'd like you to myself for a few hours. The countryside sounds wonderful.

[Hawkeye]

"Like me to yourself hmm?" He grins "Could prove interesting. Quick way or walk?"

[wxdruid]

Alena considers the possibility of being interupted by any one of his family members and says, The quick way please. She walks over, folding her wings tightly against her back and takes his hand.

[Hawkeye]

"Okay dokie" he kisses her cheek and they teleport out the building.

[Wukei]

A loud rumbling from Wukei's stomach sounds, waking her. She needed more sleep, but apparently her stomach felt she needed to eat, worse. She looks around, trying to figure out where she was. She frowns as the realization dawns on her.

She's about to get up, but there's another body in the bed blocking the way. She smiles gently at him, and kisses him softly on the cheek.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye wakes up and turns his head to look at her "Hey Wu."

[Wukei]

She smiles. Hey, yourself.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye sits up and yawns slightly "S'good sleeping on a bed after having rested on a branch for a day..."

[Wukei]

She smiles. I suppose. She keeps her mouth zipped about not having slept. Her stomach, however, protests that she hadn't eaten, either.

[Hawkeye]

"You hungry?"

[Wukei]

Wukei blushes, embarassed. Just a little.

*grrooowwwwlllllllllllllll*

(Y'know...that happened last Sunday when I was in church and my dad was pausing in his sermon. I swear it lasted 5 seconds...)

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye chuckles "Right, lets get some food. I was told that there was some stuff downstairs."

[Wukei]

Wukei frowns. I'd rather go elsewhere.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye raises an eyebrow "Oh? Why's that?"

[Wukei]

Because Alex and I don't see eye to eye. She stumbles over him, trying to get out of bed. And I don't intend to be in his debt over anything.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye moves so he's not in the way "Oh. Then where do you suggest?"

[Wukei]

Trog's serves food. As does Sneak's new place. And there's a bakery. Wukei gets a dreamy look on her face, Empanadas...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye chuckles again "I guess you want some of that huh?"

[Wukei]

Wukei nods. They are rather good. I got some right before my powers went haywire...

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye smiles slightly sadly for a brief moment "Right, we'll just have to go and get some more then."

[Wukei]

She nods, grinning, the powers obviously not weighing too heavily on her mind. She makes sure her keys are in her pocket. Then she checks the other pocket. Oh yea... She offers him a chain of keys, care to take care of these for me?

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods "Sure." he takes the offered chain, looks at it briefly, and then puts it in one of his pockets "Ready to go now?"

[Wukei]

She nods, smiling. Uh huh.

[Hawkeye]

Hawkeye nods and gets up, and then offers her his hand so she can get up as well.

[Wukei]

She takes his hand and stands. She then leads him out of the house and to the bakery.

[Hawkeye]

Alex appears on the bed in the bedroom with Alena on top of him. He kisses her and strokes one of her wings.

The picnic basket appears on the dining room table.

[wxdruid]

Alena giggles and starts up again where she left off, the curtain falling around them.

Alena looks over at Alex to see if he is still asleep or not.

Alex is sleeping peacefully.

Alena smiles at him and then turns incorporeal to slip out of bed, not wanting to disturb him.

[Hawkeye]

Alex rolls over into the spot that Alena left, he grabs a pillow and hugs it in his sleep.

[wxdruid]

Alena grins, almost tempted to get right back in bed with him, but the sky is calling her this morning and she feels the need to be alone for a bit. She turns corporeal long enough to get dressed and leave him a short note, in case he wakes up while she's out. She turns incorporeal again and walks out into the hallway and up to the roof before returning to herself. She jumps off the edge, flares her wings and heads up.

Alex sighs and drops into a deeper sleep.

Alena lightly lands on the roof. She sits on the edge and hangs her feet off the side as she watches the streets. She gently fans her wings back and forth to create a breeze.

[Hawkeye]

Alex wakes up, he sits and yawns and stretches. He looks to the side and sees Alena is gone, he sighs, puts a few things on and goes downstairs to make something to eat.

Alena remains on the roof, watching the streets.

Alex walks up to the roof with the sandwich he's made. He sees Alena and smiles.

Alena turns when she hears his footsteps, she smiles radiantly at him.

"Hiya Angel, how's you?" he walks towards her.

[wxdruid]

I'm not quite sure, but I'm happy to see you, she holds out one hand to him.

[Hawkeye]

Alex takes her hand, but looks at her with a slight sense of concern "Oh? ...why's that?"

[wxdruid]

Alena gently tugs on his hand as she moves her wing back. Sit with me?

[Hawkeye]

Alex nods "Of course" he sits down next to her.

[wxdruid]

Alena smiles and kisses his cheek after he sits down, I love you Sweetheart. She leans against him, putting her head on his shoulder.

[Hawkeye]

Alex kisses her back and puts his arm around her "Love you too Angel."

Alena quietly kicks her feet and continues to fan her wings back and forth, creating a breeze as she leans comfortably against Alex.

[Hawkeye]

"What y'thinking?"

"Sounds like pretty deep thinking..."

Alena nods and scoots a bit closer to him, putting one arm around his waist. Her wings continue to provide a breeze.

Alex sighs and offers a bite of his sandwich to her.

Alena smiles and takes a bite, after she's finished, Thank you Sweetheart.

[Hawkeye]

Alex smiles back at Alena "No problem Angel."

[wxdruid]

Alena smiles and turns her head so she can kiss his cheek.

[Hawkeye]

Alex kisses her back "Plans for today?"

[wxdruid]

Can we go shopping?

[Hawkeye]

"Sure, the Omnishop then?"

[wxdruid]

Yes, they do have everything... I ... she looks back down at the streets, I'd like to get some more stuff for our house.

[Hawkeye]

Alex grins and kisses her "Yes miss"

[wxdruid]

Alena smiles back at him, relieved. She backs up and stands up, giving Alex room to get up.

[Hawkeye]

Alex finishes his sandwich and gets up. He steps over to Alena and kisses her.

[wxdruid]

Alena kisses him back, bringing her wings around them for a brief moment.

[Wukei]

A cry of pain comes from downstairs as Mhina kneels, clinging to her baby. Her eyes and the mark on her cheek begin to glow a dark shade of purple.

[Hawkeye]

Alex puts an arm around her waist and strokes her wing gently. Them he looks down slightly "Did you hear something?"

Alena smiles and snuggles up close for a moment, enjoying the comfort of his closeness. Alena whispers, No, why?

[Hawkeye]

"Thought I heard a cry...must be my hearing playing up..."

[Wukei]

Mhina sits up, and glances down at the baby she's holding. Seeing it as nothing of import, she releases it and stands, looking for the nearest group of shadows.

Falon starts to cry from where she's been dropped.

I don't know. Was it outside?

[Hawkeye]

"Sounded like it came from downstairs..." he closes his eyes and leans into her very gently

[wxdruid]

Alena gently kisses and hugs him tightly, Do you want to check? and then we can go.

[Wukei]

The shadows transform into a portal for Mhina and she enters them. They then go back to normal.

Falon cries, trying to find comfort. She clings to her tail with both hands, whimpering at the world.

[Hawkeye]

Alex nods "You're gonna have to let me go first..."

Alena smiles and lets him go, she heads for the stairs and inside.

[Hawkeye]

Alex smiles and follows her.

[wxdruid]

Alena walks down to the living room, she spots Falon on the floor and goes to pick her up. She looks around, Where's Mhina?

[Wukei]

Falon wraps the forked tail around Alena's arm, quietting a bit now that she's being held. She reaches her hand toward Alena's face, flapping her batlike wings quickly beneath her to try to push herself toward the angel.

[Hawkeye]

Alex looks around the room biting his lip "I don't know..."

Alena is a bit surprised but keeps her hold on Falon.

[Wukei]

The baby seems to calm considerably and yawns, her eyelids growing heavy. She wraps her wings around herself as she starts to fall asleep in Alena's arms.

[Hawkeye]

Alex sighs and steps over to Alena and Falon.

[Wukei]

Mhina enters and spots Alena holding Falon. Instinctually she rushes over and pulls the baby from Alena, not offering any excuses. She hugs the baby close to her. Falon, a bit shocked at first, lets out a cry at being so rudely awoken.

[Lykan]

Lykan enters after Mhina, sitting down next to her

What happened?

[Wukei]

Mhina looks between them all and blushes. Sorry, Alena...

Wukei steps up to the door but doesn't enter, frowning slightly.

I was sitting here with Falon...then suddenly I felt someone calling me...mom's powers! The ones that had me attack her before.

(Sorry if Gwen's not here...but I figured it was only polite for my character to apologize...)

((just got back from dinner))

Alena smiles, It's all right, Mom's are always worried about their children.

[Lykan]

Lykan bites his lip

I should have tried to get rid of that mark...

[Wukei]

Wukei mumbles something sounding like, I don't worry about them, from outside the door.

Mhina gives Lykan a small smile. It's okay. Everyone's all right.

[Lykan]

Lykan frowns, looking at Fallon closley, to make sure she's alright.

[Wukei]

Falon looks perfectly healthy, and is currently playing peak-a-boo with her wings again.

[Lykan]

Lykan smiles, kissing andd hugging Mhina

[Wukei]

Mhina smiles, leaning into him.

Alena smiles and walks over to Alex, reaching out for one of his hands.

[Hawkeye]

Alex smiles and takes her hand.

[Lykan]

He sighs, smiling
