View Full Version : Pathfinder Sulis Two-Weapon Fighting Elemental Assaulter

I tried making a Monk of the Four Winds Sulis specifically to abuse the Sulis's Elemental Assault ability. Sadly, due to lack of Tank in the group and a few critical successes by the npc's, she died early (level 4). Currently I'm playing a fighter that is dual wielding Sawtooth Sabers ( http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?450752-Pathfinder-Fighter-Dual-wielding-Sawtooth-Sabers ) and looking through the feat selection again, I realised that I should have played fighter as the Suli. This brings me to the attempted build here:

Point of Build: get as much out of the Sulis Elemental Assault ability as possible while having high AC and HP.

Race: Sulis (Advanced Race Guide, Uncommon Races)

Abilities:
20 point buy (my group's normal choice):

STR 17 (15 + 2 from race)
DEX 17
CON 14
INT 7 (9 -2 from race)
WIS 10
CHA 9 (7 +2 from race)

Put level 4 & 8's ability increases into DEX in order to have 19 DEX at level 11, to qualify for Greater Two-Weapon Fighting.

25 Point Buy (our current campaign's choice):

STR 17 (15 + 2 from race)
DEX 18
CON 14
INT 7 (9 -2 from race)
WIS 11
CHA 9 (7 +2 from race)

Put level 8's ability increases into DEX in order to have 19 DEX at level 11, to qualify for Greater Two-Weapon Fighting.

Traits:
Priority: Anything that boosts Will or resistance to Enchantment spells. Don't want to be mind controlled.
Secondary: Anything that boosts Initiative.

Level 2: Weapon Focus: Shortsword
Level 3: Two-Weapon Defense
Level 4: Weapon Specialisation: Shortsword
Level 5: Incremental Elemental Assault
Level 6: Improved Two-Weapon Fighting
Level 7: Doubl Slice
Level 8: Greater Weapon Focus: Shortsword
Level 9: Iron Will
Level 10:
Level 11: Greater Two-Weapon Fighting
Level 12: Greater Weapon Specialisation: Shortsword
Level 13: Extra Elemental Assault
Level 14: Two-Weapon Rend
Level 15: Improved Iron Will
Level 16:
Level 17:
Level 18:
Level 19:
Level 20:

Two-Weapon Fighting; Improved Two-Weapon Fighting; Greater Two-Weapon Fighting; Weapon Focus; Weapon Specialisation; Greater Weapon Focus; and Greater Weapon Specialisation stay where they are. It's the earliest I can qualify for them as a Fighter.

I don't want to take Incremental Elemental Assault any later than level 5 if I can, it helps a lot with the abuse of Elemental Assault.

Extra Elemental Assault can fill any non bonus feat slot, if there isn't a better feat choice.

I don't really want to go down the critical feat tree as I'd rather get more uses out of Elemental Assault. This is the reason for choosing Shortsword, also a lot of humanoid enemies have Shortswords, so even if I am without my weapons, I can easily loot them.

What would be good weapon and armour enchantments to go for?
