Hello !!!!! Can a ninja use a swift action to activate the ghost step ability and then to use a full round action to full attack ??? The player says that is ok by RAW since swift actions are actually free actions and u can use free actions with full round actions. I am not convise that this is the case. Which one is right ?

Yes, you can use both a swift and a full round action in the same turn. You can use a swift action any time you could take a free action, with the restriction that it is during your turn and you can only do so once per round.

You could even ghost step in the middle of a full attack, possibly to gain the extra to hit bonus on your less accurate second attack.

Taking a full-round action uses up a character's Standard and Move actions for the turn. All other actions (free actions, swift/immediate actions, and non-actions such as attacks of opportunity) are still available to them.

The terms are confusing because swift actions got added later than the rest, so the early books make no reference to them.

You can use a swift action whenever you could use a free action during your turn. This is otherwise entirely correct.
