What can you come up with this?

The character idea is "Neo-Dragon Knight." They wield a scythe made from a fang of their dragon god in combat.

What combination of classes/skills/feats do you envision someone with this type of title having? (Need not be a complete build, just some ideas).

Cleric could do it even without bringing up DMM: Persist cheese; put on a buff or two, and wade into combat with your super-scythe.

Divine Metamagic

Basically lets you spend Turn attempts to knock levels off of a metamagic feat. Persist usually takes up a slot 6 levels higher IIRC, so by spending 6 turn attempts per shot you can Persist for free.

You could probably pull it off with a paladin of some kind, or a Favored Soul. Maybe a Warmage/Rainbow Servant? "Scythe-wielding warrior devoted to a dragon god" doesn't leave a whole lot of wiggle room while still letting you be legitimately powerful, rather than just looking cool and sucking.

You can be a Dragon Rider(not to be confused with Dragonrider) from Dragonlance Campaign Setting. They get a dragon cohort to ride and fight alongside with.

You could also be a Purple Dragon Knight from Complete Warrior. They have less to do with dragons but have the ability to bolster their allies in combat, get a d10 hit die and can wield tower shields.
