I'm setting my next campaign in the 5th century. There are very good 8th century and later maps, but noticable differences for my purposes include:

Lion control of much of the Ki-Rins' territory
the Hiruma and Kuni lands have not been lost to the Shadowlands, extending the Empire much farther south
Scorpion lands include much of what is currently the northern Crab lands

Has anybody seen such a map and if so, in what source?

I've never seen any official maps for any earlier timelines. Closest you get is to take a scan of a map of your choosing and draw your own lines.

The Hollow Throne play-by-post campaign has its own map for the 8th Century, but it is not canon and in this timeline the Scorpion took a big chunk out of Crane Clan lands after the fallout of some political machinations at the Emperor's Winter Court, and the Lion Clan control some parts of Phoenix territory as well.

Purple lines are Minor Clan, everything else is straight-forward.
