I slapped this together after realizing that while there was one for Metal, there isn't a domain for the other shiny things adventurers love - gemstones. All of the spells either have a thematic link to gemstones (as with color spray) or involve gems themselves.

Gem Domain

Core Deities: Bahamut, Garl Glittergold, Kurtulmak, Moradin, Tiamat.
Other Deities: All dragon deities, potentially all those who have Trade or Wealth on their list of granted domains.

Granted Power: You gain a +2 competence bonus on Appraise, Diplomacy, and Search checks. Add Appraise to your list of cleric class skills.

Gem Domain Spells
Color Spray (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/colorSpray.htm): Knocks unconscious, blinds, and/or stuns weak creatures.
GembombM: Gem becomes a bomb that deals 1d8 force damage/2 levels. (Spell Compendium)
Rainbow BeamF: Ray dazzles and deals 1d12
damage/3 levels of random type. (Spell Compendium)
Rainbow BlastF: Line deals 1d6 damage of each energy type. (Spell Compendium)
Warding GemsM: Creates gems that store healing energy,
encircle the target, and release their healing power on command. (Book of Exalted Deeds)
GemjumpF: Teleport to the location of a specially
prepared gem. (Spell Compendium)
Gem TracerMF: You create a magical link between an object and a gem, allowing you to locate the object and scry upon the bearer. (Dragons of Faerun)
Prismatic Spray (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/prismaticSpray.htm): Rays hit subjects with variety of effects.
Trap the Soul (http://www.d20srd.org/srd/spells/trapTheSoul.htm)MF: Imprisons subject within gem.

Well done. Not sure why you get a +2 on all diplomacy checks though; I think it should specifically refer to +2 to diplomacy checks on anyone who is trying to buy or sell gems or who is responsible for cutting or polishing gemstones.

Craft(gemcutting), profession(miner) or knowledge(geography) would allbe better suited than Diplomacy in my opinion. But that's just me.

Alternatively, you could give out Skill Focus (appraise) as a bonus feat and add Appraise to the cleric's list of class skills as the granted power.

Seems nice thematically but that level 2 spell...what Dwarf, Gnome, or Kobold (let alone dragon) in their right mind would use a spell that literally blows up their shiny valuable gems? o.o
