So I'm playing in a new PBP. We start at level one, with stats of 18, 16, 16, 14, 14, 12.

I want to play either a Lizardfolk (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?378279-Lizardfolk-(Playable-Race-PEACH))or a Bisque Matryoshka. (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?428019-Race-The-Matryoshka)

In addition, every class gains at least half casting, so I want to play a normally purely martial class.

Advice, Playground?

Edit: OH MY CARUBA!

The DM is also offering 30 point buy, with each stat starting at 10. Point buy is one to one, so it costs 10 points to bring a stat to 20 (the max).

Hahaha. Sounds like a great opportunity to play a Barbarian 2/Bladesinger. With 20 Int, 20 Dex, and 20 Con, you'll have AC 22 normally (Unarmored Defense AC 15, +5 from Dex, +2 from shield) or AC 25 while bladesinging (Unarmored Defense AC 15 +5 from Dex, +5 from Int, no shield allowed), or AC 30 if you Shield. Normally Bladesingers are really, really MAD but since the DM is letting you start with three 20s from the get-go you might as well enjoy it. Unlike a normal Bladesinger you'll also have fantastic Con and tons of HP, plus the ability to Rage when you want to (although that does preclude Shield).

Maybe it's just me but I find the thought of a Barbarian/Bladesinger vastly amusing compared to regular boring elven bladesingers. For extra fun make him both cannibalistic and a voracious bookworm with a whole library of information tattooed on human (or orc) skin.

I'm starting out as a Barbarian. See here: http://www.myth-weavers.com/sheet.html#id=606200

I think I might just go straight barbarian. Though we also get a custom magic item. Any ideas on that?
