So back during Journey to Nyx, there was the whole forge a Godslayer quest thing, where you got an equipment based on your color choice for the prerelease, and then at the end of the prerelease (depending on how play went) you got an extra ability to add to the base equipment. I was wondering what people thought they should be summonable for. (Admittedly a big question, since there are 35 different cards here, but...

The base cards were:
Spear of the General: (White) Equipped creature gets +2/+0 and First Strike. Equip 2.
Cloak of the Philosopher: (Blue) Equipped creature gets +1/+1. Pay 2, untap equipped creature. Equip 2.
Lash of the Tyrant: (Black) Equipped creature gets +1/+2 and Deathtouch. Equip 2.
Axe of the Warmonger: (Red) Equipped creature gets +2/+1 and Haste. Equip 2.
Bow of the Hunter: (Green) Equipped creature has: Tap: this creature deals 2 damage to target creature or player. Equip 2.

The various extras were:
1. Equipped creature gets Double Strike.
2. Whenever equipped creature deals damage, untap two target lands.
3. Equipped creature has Vigilance and can block an additional creature each combat.
4. Whenever equipped creature deals damage, put a +1/+1 counter on it.
5. Whenever equipped creature deals damage, Scry 1.
6. Equipped creature has Protection from Enchantments.
7. Whenever equipped creature deals damage, put a 1/1 White Soldier creature token onto the battlefield.

Obviously they're not all equal. White 1 is far weaker than Red 1, since White's First Strike is redundant on 1's Double Strike. I think arguably for most of the, "deals damage," triggers, Green is the best, except maybe the +1/+1 counters one. Protection from Enchantments is also significantly less good outside of Theros (though not by a ton), so it is worth asking whether we're balancing for Theros or for general.
