Coup de grace all the things!!!*

Just wanted to share this with you all, since I noticed Ghoul Glyph the other day and a quick search only gave me 1 result on these boards.
What do you think about the combo? What would you say if your local 3rd level Wizard pulled it off? Would you pull it off, if given the chance?

*Except for constructs, dragons, elementals, oozes, plants, undeads and other creatures naturally immune to paralysis.

The problem is, it does require your enemy to move within 5' of it, not just be within 5'. So if you ran up to the target and scribed a ghoul glyph on the ground next to him, he could just move away from it without triggering it.

And now you have a landmine that might be used against your own party members.

That said, these problems aren't insurmountable. If your party has someone built around forced movement, it could be nasty.

You could also scribe the Ghoul Glyph under the enemy and then move away (either tumbling away, using Abrupt Jaunt or by being invisible while scribing the glyph). This way, if the enemy moves in any direction it'll still move within 5' of the glyph and activate it.
