quite likely, (s)he is reporting the initial phases of the vote, when the fight between Roy and Durkula is not yet start.

But for sure, (s)he missed Belkar fall, because the Durkula vs Belkar fight is happen before vamping, protecting and commanding the Stone priest.


This might mean, that if they have not tried to interfere when Roy is about to die, is because in the meantime they are (they will in the next strip) busy deal with the vampire and protecting the Orb.

Not sure V is doing anything. She really is just watching the godsmoot as well as she can from where she is. Considering Elan and Haley are playng a board game below deck, the Order just seem to be on standby until the godsmoot is over. Guess V thought the best use of her time would be to watch the proceedings for anything unusual.

Valid points though: her elven sense make her the best lookout for this, although she doesn't seem to have seen Belkar falling.

Last we heard, V's spot check was bad even with his familiar. It would not surprise me at all if it was impossible at this distance.

This (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0992.html)strip shows the mechane preparing to dock on what looks like the left side of the building. When Belkar is defenestrated (http://www.giantitp.com/comics/oots0996.html), it looks like he falls out of the opposite side of the building, assuming the perspective is the same. I find it unlikely V could spot something like that, especially considering the way he slid off the side of the building and proceeded to fall straight down.
