Class Features:
All of the following are features of the Iron Maiden prestige class

Weapon and Armor Proficiencies:
The Iron Maiden gains proficiency with iron maiden “armor.”

Spells per day/ Max spirit level:
When a new Iron Maiden level is gained, the character gains new spells per day as if she had also gained a level in any one arcane spellcasting class she belonged to before she added the prestige class. She does not, however, gain other benefits a character of that class would have gained. This essentially means that she adds the level of Iron Maiden to the level of whatever other arcane spellcasting class the character has, then determines spells per day, spells known, and caster level accordingly. If a character had more than one arcane spellcasting class before she became an Iron Maiden, she must decide to which class she adds each level of Iron Maiden for the purpose of determining spells per day.

If the character had levels in a class that allowed them to bind spirits, when a new Iron Maiden level is gained, the character advances their binding as if she had also gained a level in any one binding class that she belonged to before she added this prestige class. She does not, however, gain other benefits a character of that class would have gained. This essentially means that she adds the level of Iron Maiden to the level of whatever other arcane spellcasting class the character has, then determines her max spirit level, Binder level, and pact augmentations.

Bound in Iron (EX):
The Iron Maiden has bound her soul to an Iron maiden and as such she can not stray too far from it, lest her soul lose it’s connection to her body and become entombed in iron for eternity. The Iron maiden can stay outside her iron maiden "armor" for a total number of hours equal to the ability modifier of her casting or binding stat. For every extra minute that the Iron Maiden stays outside of her iron maiden "armor" she is dealt 5d6 nonlethal damage. When the Iron Maiden would become unconscious by this damage, she is instantly slain, her soul to be trapped in iron for eternity. This time limit is reset after the Iron maiden spends at least 3 consecutive hours within her iron maiden "armor".

This connection does give the Iron Maiden certain benefits however, while “wearing” iron maiden "armor", she does not suffer the normal damage per round that normally results from being encased in such a device. In addition, by using the power of her soul, the Iron Maiden can levitate the Iron Maiden while encased within in order to move. At 1st level she can levitate at a speed of 5ft per round. This increases to 10ft per round at 5th level, and 20ft per round at 10th level. As the Iron Maiden is levitating, her movement is not subject to difficult terrain, she can pass over liquids like water or lava.

Soul of Iron:
The Iron Maiden has learned to use the bond of her soul to channel through the Iron shell she encases herself in. The Iron Maiden can cast spells, and use the abilities of her bound spirits through the iron maiden "armor" without suffering the normal Spell failure chance. In addition all spells and bound spirit abilities do not require their somatic components while she is wearing iron maiden “armor.”

Iron Slumber (EX):
The Iron Maiden has learned to be comfortable within what is normally considered a torture device. As such she suffers no penalty for sleeping in her Iron Maiden.

Soul’s Armor (EX):
The Soul of the Iron Maiden reinforces the iron maiden "armor" she has bound herself to. The"armor" gains hardness equal to the ability modifier of her casting or binding stat, and hit points equal to 3 times her character level. In addition, her iron maiden "armor" always counts as an attended magical item regardless of whether or not the Iron Maiden is “wearing” it.

Power of Iron (SU):
The Iron Maiden’s body is constantly being damaged and regenerated by the iron maiden "armor". This cycle hardens her soul and her resolve which defines her power. While within her iron maiden "armor", the Iron Maiden casts spells and uses her bound Spirit abilities at +2 Caster Level, or +2 Binder Level respectively.

Resiliency of the Soul (SU):
The Iron Maiden’s body and soul has gained resiliency from its constant injury and regeneration from the iron maiden "armor" and her bond to it. As such the Iron Maiden gains DR/magic equal to half the ability modifier of her casting or binding stat.

Pliable Soul (EX):
The Iron Maiden has learned to adapt her soul as she reinforces her iron maiden "armor" by applying magic enchantments to it like normal armor. This is done by completing an 8 hour ritual in which the Iron Maiden sacrifices an amount of materials with a total cost equal the cost of the enchantment she wants to apply. If the ritual is interrupted the materials are wasted and must be gathered again.

Iron Eyes (SU):
The soul of the Iron Maiden is not limited to her body when it comes to viewing and speaking to the world, and has learned to use the iron that houses her soul to do so. For 1 minute per Iron Maiden level, the Iron Maiden can use all of her senses and speak through her iron maiden "armor" in addition to her own body. This time limit is reset after the Iron maiden spends at least 3 consecutive hours within her iron maiden "armor".

Soul’s Recall (SU):
The body of an Iron Maiden is magically tied to her soul, and she has learned to use this connection. Once per encounter the Iron Maiden can, teleport herself into her iron maiden "armor". This functions as the Dimension Door spell except the range is infinite and the Iron Maiden can only be teleported to her iron maiden "armor" and nowhere else, and she can not bring along any other creature.

Recall the Soul (SU):
The Iron Maiden is still connected to her body and though the connection is not as all encompassing as it used to be, it still contains power. Once per encounter, the Iron Maiden may teleport her iron maiden "armor" to herself. This functions like the Soul’s Recall class feature except that the iron maiden "armor" is teleported to her instead.

Iron Channeling:
The soul of the Iron Maiden’s connection to her iron maiden "armor" has grown impressively strong and laced with her own magical power. For a number of rounds equal to half her Iron Maiden level, the Iron Maiden may cast her spells or use her bound spirit abilities as though she was in the same space as her iron maiden "armor", provided she is within close range of her iron maiden "armor". These rounds do not need to be consecutive. These rounds are replenished aiden spends at least 8 consecutive hours within her iron maiden "armor".

Initiative of the Soul (SU):
The Iron Maiden’s soul has begun to act more on it’s own, independant of its body. Once per round the Iron Maiden can move her iron maiden "armor" as per her bound in iron class feature, even if her body is not currently within the iron maiden "armor".

Maw of Iron (SU):
The soul of the Iron Maiden has begun to hunger for its body when it is not present. The Iron Maiden may, as part of a standard action, have her iron maiden "armor" attempt to attack an adjacent enemy. The Iron Maiden makes an attack using her full base attack bonus, using the ability modifier of her casting or binding stat. This attack deals 1d10 piercing damage and is made by the iron maiden "armor" itself, not her body.
If the attack is successful, the Iron Maiden can initiate a grapple as a free action, using the ability modifier of her casting or binding stat instead of her strength modifier in her CMB. If the Iron Maiden successfully pin an opponent using this ability, that opponent is trapped within the iron maiden "armor" and begins to suffer damage as though they were wearing it, plus an additional d6 for each Iron Maiden level. (So if a 7th level Iron Maiden successfully pinned an opponent, that enemy would take 12d6 piercing damage each round they remained pinned)

Buoyancy of soul (EX):
The Iron Maiden’s bond to her iron soul has grown stronger. The Iron Maiden can now fly instead of levitating when moving her iron maiden "armor" as described in the Bound in Iron class feature.

Regenerative Soul (EX):
The soul of the Iron Maiden has learned to infuse its iron housing with regenerative energy. This causes the iron maiden "armor" to repair itself slowly. Each round that the Iron Maiden is within her iron maiden "armor", it repairs 1 point of damage.

Oath of Iron (EX):
The Iron Maiden has finally learned to fully unlock the power of the oath she took when she first bound herself to the iron maiden "armor". She no longer ages or gains the penalties or benefits of aging, but all previously attained benefits and penalties remain unchanged. She also gains DR/magic equal to half the ability modifier of her casting or binding stat.

Reborn in Iron (SU):
The Iron Maiden’s Soul has grown strong within the iron maiden "armor", so strong that she can withstand the loss of her original body. The iron maiden "armor" functions similarly to a lich's phylactery. When an Iron Maiden’s body is destroyed, her soul immediately begins to rebuild it within her Iron Maiden. This process takes 1d5 days—if the body is destroyed before that time passes, the Iron Maiden’s soul merely starts the process anew. After this time passes, the Iron Maiden wakens fully healed (albeit without any gear it left behind on its old body), usually with a burning need for revenge against those who previously destroyed it.
If the iron maiden "armor" is destroyed or the Iron Maiden remains outside of her iron maiden "armor" for too long (as defined in the Bound in Iron class feature) she is still slain as normal.

Iron Maiden: An Iron Maiden is an massive torture device that the “wearer” is encased within. The “wearer” is well protected but is completely unable to move and takes 5d6 piercing damage every round at the beginning of their turn. A character can not wield weapons or Shields while “wearing” an Iron Maiden. Getting into an upright Iron Maiden and closing the door takes a move action. While a character is encased in an Iron Maiden they can not be dealt precision damage. The armor check Penalty, speed penalty, maximum dex bonus, and arcane Spell failure chance of this armor can not be reduced.
Unattended, the iron maiden “armor” can stand on its own. It takes up a 5ft/5ft square, and provides partial cover.
