Consider a magic-user in the Pathfinder system, a Sorcerer who happens to be an illusionist with Greater Spell Focus (Illusion). So he takes Shadow Evocation as one of his spells and also Spell Specialization for it and Spell Perfection, as well as the Persistent Spell feat.

That being said, am I correct that this Illusionist sorcerer (lets day 15th level) can now cast all the Evocation spells from the Sorcerer/Wizard list of levels 1-4 out of a 5th level spell slot?
And that by applying Spell Perfection can add Persistent Spell without affecting the spell level or casting time?
And that if that Evocation spell has a saving throw he has to "save twice" to save against the effect, and if for some reason he attempts to disbelieve the effect he will have to "save twice" on that save as well?
And that since he is using illusion to mimic these evocation spells not only are they being cast at 2 higher caster levels but also get "free" persistent spell effects as well as "free" +4 to the DC from the Spell Focus and Greater Spell Focus (Illusion)?

That would be awesome. BTW I know Persistent Spell may not necessarily apply to all spells.

The "save twice" thing is actually a bad thing for the caster - essentially it adds an extra "Will Partial" to whatever save there was before. So they don't have to save twice against it, they get two chances to save against it. If they pass the initial Will save, it only has 20% of its normal effect. Whether they pass or fail that save, they still get to make whatever save comes attached to the spell. They have to fail two saves in order to suffer the normal full effect.

...and if for some reason he attempts to disbelieve the effect...

That "some reason" is getting hit with your shadow evocation:

Creatures encountering an illusion usually do not receive saving throws to recognize it as illusory until they study it carefully or interact with it in some fashion.

And that's automatic, not a conscious decision the target needs to make.

But yes, with Persistent Spell, they need to make two saves in order to disbelieve, and then if any save is called for by the spell you're imitating, two saves for that as well.

Shadow Conjuration is more useful — but still subject to the two saves except where the original spell has no save.

Also Gnome, a further +1 to the DC

There's a handbook for this. (https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B5kvBvq2DEHjTVF4NEY4SXpSTUU/view?pli=1)
