Pretty much, I want to create a character that uses his claw's as his main weapons. Here are the boundires I'm set:

SRD (No psionics)
Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting
Forgotten Realms Player's Handbook
Races of Faerun
All the Completes except Complete Champion
Races of Destiny, Wild, Stone, Dragon
Any non-lawful

I origionally though Beguiler/Dragon Deciple (dont know if he'll allow Beguiler though, spelltheif was my other thought in this place), but then I'm kinda lost, I've never really played a class like this (Everyone think diablo 2 assassin, Edward Scissorhands (http://tn3-2.deviantart.com/300W/fs7.deviantart.com/i/2005/241/7/1/Edward_Scissorhands_by_mortis_artifactium.jpg) and Nero from dirge of cerberus, sorta like that). Looking for hidey/seeky character with high strength, more an oppotunist then front line fighter. Even just class suggestions would be nice, to stear me in the right direction, I should be able to discern a character from there (feat suggestions are always nice too).

Kensai. You'll want your claws to be magic weapons, or Druid, for Magic Fang as a spell.
Only problem is getting claws. Dragon Disciples are..sub-par.
EDIT: Oh expletive. Non-lawful.

Without psionics claws are really poor weapons.

You'd need to combine your claw attacks with abilities which give big damage bonuses on your first attack or which can only be combined with a single attack, to compensate for the fact you don't get extra attacks from BAB ... Tome of Battle would help there, but it's not on the list :/

If you are willing to let go of the strength based part you could play an arcane trickster using Claws of Darkness as his weapon of choice ... that would work quite well (as long as you can sneak attack and your opponents don't have SR or a lesser globe of invulnerability).

I don't know if this is very optimal, and it probably isn't "sneaky opprotunist" enough but I am playing a half dragon duskblade in a "you lost all your magic stuff and wake up naked" kind of campaign and it's been good fun so far. The claws aren't magic but the spells I channel through them are so I am still holding my own despite the huge level adjustment from being a half dragon in the first place.

In anything but a low/zero magic items setting though that would probably be a really poor character choice. However potions of greater magic fang (or, even better, get a friendly druid and a wizard to cast greater magic fang then permanancy) should go a long way towards evening out the field.

PHB2 is not on the list either :/

Since you have races of dragon on there, I suggest a spell called "Greater mighty wallop" its a spell that easily makes your natural attacks into collosal damage, I'd suggest going up Sorcerer all the way, with taking racial feats from races of dragon, you can do polymorph (yes can be cheesy :/) you can be very effective though

so my suggestion is: Sorcerer with spells like greater mightywallop :)

Natural weapons are not melee weapons, you can't cast Magic Weapon on claws and you can't cast Mighty Wallop on claws.

As long as you're starting from at least level seven, go with a Bear Warrior.
And use some race that has claws.

Guys, I believe he's talking about these :

http://www.battle.net/diablo2exp/items/elite/katars.shtml

Look at the picture for feral claws/runic talons. Or,

http://www.blizzard.com/diablo2exp/charclass/assassin.shtml

For a picture of the assassin wearing them.

'fraid I'm not familiar enough with the books allowed to help beyond that.

Guys, I believe he's talking about these :
...Then why would he need Dragon Disciple?

I vote Druid 3 Rogue 2 Dragon Disciple X, using Produce Flame to get a full attack action in addition to your claws and bite.

You could also do something with Master of Masks (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20070105a&page=3), which gets claw progression, or Fang of Lolth (http://www.wizards.com/default.asp?x=dnd/ex/20011207) for the spider legs.

Sadly, your best options would be the King of Smack or one of Fax's Totemist builds. But since Psionics and Incarnium aren't on you're usable list, you're a bit screwed.

Anywho, here's my thread on how to get natural attacks (http://www.giantitp.com/forums/showthread.php?t=29095). It should help.

You need spontaneous arcane casting for Dragon Disciple.

Yeah, I forgot a single level of Assassin/Avenger. Sorry.

Druid 3 | Rogue 2 | Assassin/Avenger 1 | Disciple X
