Okay, I want to create a construct under my control, human-shaped, one which will go search for ore and raw materials, craft another construct identical to himself, which will then craft more constructs, exponentially! Automatized, but each obeying my will.

What do i need?

I can handle crafting a basic construct, thanks to this guide; http://paizo.com/pathfinderRPG/prd/ultimateMagic/magic/buildingAndModifyingConstructs.html

But i saw no mentions of giving constructs skill points, feats, or maybe the use of the Fabricate spell if needed. Only the brain bioconstruct modification might satisfy some needs, but it's a very costly one.

I'm looking for the cheapest solution currently, my character is kinda broke, it doesn't matter if it takes months or even years.

Thanks!

If you are in third party be a mechanosmith and create that construct that can do craft checks and have the feats that make you able to make magic items with craft then your constructs can craft items that cast the spell who create them.

Is Eberron available? If so, http://kolidascope.wikia.com/wiki/Dedicated_Wright

Problem with the dedicated wright is that i still have to pay the cost for the creations. I'm more looking for a self sufficient, automated factory of constructs.

The machinesmith is interesting. Though it will take a while before the benefits kicks in. So i'll still try to look for some other way.

Regarding construct creation, they list the pricing of each bonus ''Special Ability'' but would giving a craft skill to a construct, a feat or a spell count as a special ability for pricing purpose?

Creating a construct able to craft should be any different than creating one to fight, yet there are no explicit rules for that.

One item casting the spell Mechanical Helper III once per day would cost 34560
With it have craft basket-weaving and the feat who allows to create magic items with the craft skill and now those mechanical helpers can craft magic items like for example more items casting the spell Mechanical Helper III once per day(they need only one third of the price of the item in base resources and with the selling of magic items of this kind you will get the money to buy more resources).
Now get in an central using lighting for producing electricity because the GM will throw lighting 100000000 times per second.

Simulacrum of yourself which casts simulacrum. Make a few of them and have them make double thought bottles to extend the operation as long as possible. You should get a lot of robots this way.

Wall of Stone for a big block + Stone Shape so it's not attached to the ground anymore + Polymorph Any Object to turn it into a stone golem. It's lacking magic immunity and DR, and it's BAB, saves, and HD are questionable, but you are in all senses it's creator, so it should obey you.

No, you're not getting self-replicating constructs this way, but you can make a fairly large army fairly quickly during down time. I usually refer to them as "Seige golems". Little more than butlers in a standard game at 15th, they make good cannon fodder compared to, say, orc warrior-1's or something (high HP, high strength, OK damage. Yes, they can be dispelled... but if your spell slots during down time eat up their spell slots on the day of battle, that's a win for you from a resource expenditure perspective).

Note that edition matters. These things are probably far less effective in a Pathfinder game, for instance, due to how polymorphing in general works in Pathfinder.

You should read my guides..

They're mostly D&D specific, but some of them should be transferrable to Pathfinder.

...

At some point I need to look at what Pathfinder has done in this realm. Anyone have any suggestions on what they added or changed?
