I was just reading another post on here, and it brought up a question I've asked some people before.

Why the hell does the Invisible Blade PrC (Complete Warrior) list Far Shot and Point Blank shot as prerequisites??!? The class has absolutely nothing to do with throwing your daggers, and none of the class abilities have any ranged effect other than the SA it gives. It makes no sense!

Because WotC's editors suck? Because they expect if you're a dagger guy that you're a dagger-throwing guy? Because they wanted to make it harder to enter on the assumption that free-action feints+SA is OP? Because Master Thrower is in the same book and they assumed you would want to go into that next?

IIRC, Invisible Blade originally included the Master Thrower class and was a 10 level class while Complete Warrior was being written. At some point during development they were split into two classes and the prerequisites for Invisible Blade weren't updated to reflect the loss of throwing focus.

It's like learning about the Teapot Dome scandal (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Teapot_Dome_scandal) or the many beheadings under the reign of Henry VIII (http://history.howstuffworks.com/historical-figures/10-henry-viii-executions.htm) in school. It's supposed to make you better informed and build character.
